I know that Union got a massive boost after all the media attention surrounding England's world cup win but that can't be the only reason that their club game attendances have shot up so much. How are the Union teams getting more people through the gates than League teams. This is something that the clubs and the RFL should seriously be looking into. We have the better product yet they seem to be selling it far better these days.

If they have already bought tickets it will still count towards the crowd even if they don't turn up. It should have been a sell out, and I sincerely hope it is for the likes of yourself who goes week in week out.

bugger!! my lad has a season ticket in the south and i buy per game as i can't make them all because of work, i'm going to have to buy 2 in another stand now

You can pay a small upgrade to swap the season ticket from the South to another stand, or you might get lucky and a seat come available if someone cancels their ticket in the South or moves to another stand etc - best advice is to keep checking online for a seat coming available.

Far too much apathy around our town re. actually getting off your harris and going to the ground, apparently the pubs are full of Saints-top wearing blokes watching the game on telly whenever we're on Sky. Bizarre.

I hope the new stadium is sufficient a pull to change this over the long term but I have my doubts.

Congrats through gritted teeth on your crowd figures though, great achievement - I can't help but think that a lot of it is as a result of the galvanising effect of a brush with relegation. That really seemed to pull you lot together on the terraces.

It may have been asked before but why are there only 18646 tickets available for the 3 stands open tonight (I know there's a 10% reduction for the South Stand due to H&S) but that equates to approx 500. As the ground holds 25.5K and take away 5400 for the North then the 10% for the south should mean there's 19500 seats available yet there isn't.

There are approximately 1,000 seats included in the stadium capacity that aren't available online (press box, directors box & executive area).

Corporate Seats will be taken into account for the official capacity, and they won't be on sale via eticketing.

So the 3 stands approx have 19.5k seats available then, so if the coperates are taken up by the relevent parties and due to the online ticketing showing 2277 seats left, this now means over 17K will be attendance tonight?

Some seats have already been printed to go on the turnstiles so don't necessarily translate to a 'sold' ticket even though it's unavailable on E-Tickets. Wouldn't be surprised if the crowd isn't far off the 17,000 mark though if there is a good walk-up.
