Is there anything about which DaveO can't moan?



Seriously though that's ridiculous. Is anyone not renewing? I'm not a season ticket holder but based on last year i'm not sure i'd get one if i were in a position to attend every game. We had a relatively poor home record, especially towards the end of the year and Sam and Lockers, our two best players, played in one home league game each after may 3rd.

While we did have a successful season, that wasn't reflected in our home league performances, the best being a win against saints and a draw with wire i suppose. I'm not complaining about the way we went about this season i'm just not sure if i would be happy to be a season ticket holder if it were to become the norm.

No, its £2.50 a ticket! I purchased two season tickets and a car park ticket and it is £2.50 for each ticket.

That's ludicrous, was it all carried out on a single transaction as well?

Surely this isn't right, I'm sure there is a law that's either already out (or is coming out) stopping admin costs like this from happening.

So for my seat in the west that works out at 1% for the seat and 6% for the car park or just under 2% as an aggregate.

Complete rip off - it doesn't cost £2.50 to process each of these things, but given the numbers all ticket-master will do is say they're within their right.

ALTHOUGH: on the WW renewal T&Cs page this is present: A £2.50 booking fee [size=150per membership[/size applies to telephone, postal, fax and online orders

Why not add £2.50 to ticket prices or whatever it is and advertise as no booking fee? Or is there a law that states you cant do that?

If this is the case DaveO i'd be looking into a £5 refund from the club

Does anyone know why the club aren't doing the Loyal 18 memberships this year? I was certain that I had seen them advertised for the coming season but when my husband rang yesterday he was told they would not be doing them! It was always a no-brainer for us because of the discount on Magic Weekend tickets.

I don't know the actual reason but it is probably the case that either
1) They didn't bring in as much money as expected so were not worth the hassle for the club relative to the amount of money made from them

or

2) The results of the fan survey indicated that lots of STHs were unhappy that people who purchased them and paid significantly less were given equal priority for tickets for finals/SFs/away games and the same level of Magic discount.

or

3)Providing the same benefits as a ST (such as Magic discounts) through those memberships for much less outlay could also have been seen by the club to affect ST sales/renewals with previous STHs opting for one of them rather than another ST (meaning that the option of separate memberships resulted in a loss of potential income for the club).

Are Wigan sending out season ticket renewal packs this year? It was much easier to fill them in and then take them to the ticket office.
There must also people who don't have access to computers so can't use the online booking system.

They sent mine my by email I'm registered with them so they did it this way. I have never filled an application form in yet just took my old season ticket down to the office and renewed it with that. You can also renew on line .

My lad (Ross ) qualifies for an under 22 ticket concession . This year i qualify for a over 60 concession (I know i am now officially old) . Wigan have given me a =#FF0000[size=150free[/size car park season ticket because of the distance we travel to games . Happy days. =#FF0000Supporting the Mighty Wigan Warriors has never been cheaper .

If you can smell Ralgex or Deep Heat then your pretty close

those numbers are in the press cage - or at the very least a bit too close. Do you really want George Riley & Dave Woods rattling on in your lug oil for 80 minutes ?

That was me yes if you are registered as an email address with the club then you will get them through there if not registered then suppose you will get them through the post .I have had no problem in the past just taking my season ticket down to the office and renewing with that you can also renew on line with your client code.

I still object to being charged a fiver for doing it on-line though (ST + car park)
