Two weeks on the trot we have burst through looking for back up.

We really are a poor team.

I’m struggling to remember as bad an individual display from a scrum half as what Smith has served up today. Maybe back to the Moran days but what Smith has served up has been pretty dreadful.

Even when we make a clean break we do not know what to do.

Behind a beaten pack or not that was horrendous from Smith.

Kicked out on the full 2 or 3 games on the bounce, lacks dominance and poor decisions.

- no one is with LB when he breaks through
- Smith gets the ball at the 70, runs across the field slower than my dead Nan, throws a pass you could see coming from last Tuesday and Mamo intercepts for another p155 easy try

Lam can put his head in his hands all he wants. This is his doing. His team. His tactics. He needs to go now. It’s really f***ing grating me how IL hasn’t pulled the trigger already. What more does he need?!?!

Another poor play from Smith, offered less than nothing attempting to stop Hughes.

Basically let him walk through almost like he thought he was playing touch and pass.

I’m sat about 30m from that try right in line. The panic was obvious.

Good opening 3mins (we’ll call it 5). Good opening 20mins in the second half. 25mins we played decent. The rest was abysmal at best and plain ridiculous at worst. The crowd leaving early, boos ringing out, embarrassed at home by one of our closest rivals. About to hear Lam offer up the same excuses. They keep switching to him on Sky and he just looks lost.

Re Smith I see potential in him. But he’s playing like he has no confidence or comfort in what he’s being asked to do. With a coach of the mettle of Holbrook/Maguire he’d be a completely different half.

The only shining light from that game was KPP. That lad is gonna be an awesome asset for us.

My first game in the flesh this year. Brilliant to see the lack of quality, team spirit and general lethargy in person. The club is a shell of what it should be, plenty abuse thrown form the stands towards Lam too.

Yeah I don’t disagree to be honest. Isa looked ok in patches, good in others, poor in others. Pretty standard for him.

Strange post match interview. As an outsider looking in if Lam thinks your are close to where you need to be you are in a whole heap of trouble. There is no way that is good enough for a Wigan team and to think otherwise is unbelievable.

Very good from us (wire) tonight, but jeez you lot are miles off the pace at the minute. New coach and a rebuild coming for 2022 no doubt.

What's more depressing, is that given the Injuries, Lam can't even attempt to change anything, which means a season watching this dross...

Don’t expect him to come out and slam the players but I expected a somewhat more downbeat interview.

He seemed fairly comfortable with where we are and how we played which is very concerning.
