A decent first half. Virtually non stop and played at an incredible pace. I’m impressed with Isa and Hardaker so far. The bloke with the Polish name that I can’t spell and can’t be bothered to google has been outstanding l, Leeming is a cracking hooker.

I thought we were really unlucky with the call on the Hardaker no try, a brilliant defensive effort but first contact was with the ball for me and should have been play on.

We’re a big metre eating starting prop and a few returning backs away from having one hell of a team. I’ve been longing to see Smithies in the second row and he’s smashing it. His time in the middle will come. It’s boring but Clubb had an appalling 15 minutes. Dodging work and looking like he had two fridges on his back when Briscoe waltzed across the front of him and broke away.

Might be on my own but I’m absolutely puzzled how that last video ref decision doesn’t go as far as the grounding. It was clear as day to me that Luke Briscoe attacked the ball and knocked it out. Hopefully it doesn’t cost us.

I'm not sure how Tommy's hit on Austin against Wire in the cup can be given as a wire ball, but that is a knock on against Wigan. He clearly hits the ball.

Can they not just take him off Wigan games?! He’s bound to be worse tonight with his lad playing for Leeds but in general it’s just pathetic. I don’t know if he has a real dislike for the club or if he’s just trying too hard not to be seen as pro Wigan but it’s gone past boring.

I don't have an issue with that standone decision - its just as inconsistent as ever.

Amazing how we see things differently, but i think we have been very disjointed in attack, poor going forward and poor discipline.

Where in a right arm wrestle here and I'm not confident of us wining it.

I wouldn't say great. He's done better than his previous spell, but still not good enough or what we need imo.

Hardaker no try was correct. There is no stripping motion, lost in first impact. Our fitness is great, no coincidence that we keep pulling away late in games, set restarts and no scrums have played right into our hands.

Pretty boring game to watch with about 24 forwards on the field. We need to move on from Clubb ASAP and sort our attack out regardless of outside backs being not being available. Also quite worried about Singleton and then I’ve just seen him ragdolled. He’s had a poor start to the season but I’m happy with three wins.

Changed the game for me with a couple of big contributions.

Overall 6/10 performance.

Did enough, never had to really dig deep, still not clicking in attack.

Much better second spell from Clubb. Young Hanley had by far his best game and the likes of Smithies and Shorrocks were excellent. There were plenty of minus points as well (goal kicking and the battering the starting props took in particular) but with so much strike to come back we can only be happy. The missing piece is a prop like young Oledzki for them but it’ll be tough to find one.

I've slated Hanley's performances every week. He's not quite proved me wrong, but he was solid for the first time today. Great to see his first errorless performance. I'd still leave him out next week if French returns, but it's encouraging. Would have liked to have seen Halsall get a crack after a good game last week, better than having two second rowers at centre. I thought Shorrocks had a bad game.

As others have said 3/3 and were not playing well, I would say quite poor in attack but really good in defence and our fitness looks good. Zak is playing well but for me he looks much fitter and I think he can excel at centre as well, I think people are forgetting how good French is and he will be wasted out of position. For me no need to worry, at this part of the season it’s about getting points on the board and hopefully hit form at the right time.

Happy with the wins but not really that impressed with performances. I think our defence overall is pretty good but our go forward is (and continues to be) pretty poor at times. Its unfair on those young forwards as we've been screaming out for a quality prop for years.

I know Leeds were missing more players than us but put Marshall, Manfredi, French, Field and Gildart back in and our attack is far more threatening.

With two second rowers in the centres we will never be as fluid as we want to be.

The Hastings try showed how much juice we had taken out of them, that was pure fatigue in defence. From that point on, although only 6 in front I never felt we were going to lose the game.

Big efforts from Smithies and Isa. I’m pleased for Hanley, an error free game and we saw half a glimpse of what he could do if we managed to give him the ball in some space.

Is it just me who can’t stand this new ball stripping rule.

I don't think Lam will even consider playing Hardaker at fullback when French is back.

Post game interview didn’t sound like it did it.

Shorrocks a bad game? Thought he had a cracker myself. Worked his socks off, good aggression and decent ground made. Hanley did more than just not make errors in fairness to him. He ran the ball pretty well and got a couple of opportunities in a bit of broken field where you can tell he’ll be strong. A good ending (as it probably should be) to his first spell of a few games for us.
