All that said, there isn't a cat in hell's chance that'd let him play any part in the Saints game, even if it means playing someone else out of position.

We'll have several games after that which are almost dead rubbers. If he's genuinely ready, play him in those.

I agree with this. Especially considering that Escare has a fair amount of experience on the wing. And Mullen, although he didn’t possess the explosiveness of Marshall or Burgess, looked assured and solid when he played on the wing earlier in the year.

Well he got through the 80 and looked pretty good I thought. One try, one try assist and some powerful runs.

Another step on the road to a first team comeback. I’d start Escare at Saints and give Manfredi a place on the bench. We can use Escare to spell Tommy/Powell then and get Manfredi a decent spell.

If he is fit get him on the wing against Saints. Why are we waiting? If he is doing the same training as everyone else he should be judged on his merits. Waiting and waiting isnt going to help him. Ask the medical experts if hes ready get him in. He is in a different league to Escare and Wane has hinted for a couple of weeks he would use him at Saints

I’d agree, as we won’t be seeing Burgess or Marshall again this year, as long as the medics say he is good to go the sooner we get him in the better chance he will be match fit and ready to go for the semis.

It's a shame we've lost two left-wingers now and are left with two right-wingers. I imagine it would be Tom Davies who moves to the left if Manfredi plays?

It would be interesting to see how Davies would go with better attacking ball.

Not quite sure where you expect this attacking ball to come from if he has Sarginson as his centre.

Williams and O'Loughlin for starters. Not all passes to wingers come from their centre.

Is he still playing or has he secretly retired, If he hasn't he needs to, His body must be proper knackered know, there comes a time when when personal health comes before loyalty to your employers

Seeing it's just a recurring calf problem I hardly think it's life threatening

His injuries keep mounting up though and the amount of games he plays get's less and less

In 2013 Lockers didn't play between the C Cup Final and Grand Final. HE's not done too bad in between.
One more year me thinks.

I don't think Lockers is playing on next year, I think he's going to move into the coaching set-up...don't hammer me if I am wrong but that was the impression we got from Matty Peat when we last spoke.

That being true it will be a massive challenge for us (Lam) next year. Lots of quality will have headed out the door at the end of this season.

Lockers, Tomkins & Bateman are a large part of our organisation and go forward, as well as Sutton. Surely we need to be looking to bring in another quality signing or two?

If Lockers were to go (doubt it) then yes, but otherwise I think Hardaker, Greenwood, Hankinson and Bullock are our replacements for those players

I expect a half (probably Lam Jr) and another Prop to come in.

If Tautai goes as is rumoured then for me it would be a toss us between secondrow and centre.

Unless he has had a relapse then Manfredi I am sure will be playing in the next match as I will be very surprised if Sarginson plays probably for the next few weeks.
