I agree. I worry when people read stats and go off nothing else. Anybody who's watched the game for any number of games can see there's far more which goes into it. Positional play, what consists of a missed tackle or even tackle, what moments or errors effect the game, the momentum etc. How a centre can effect a wingers stats for example. Stats are merely a very short snapshot of what a player does.
PS This isn't just about Marshall. Stats in general. |
