I'd have Manfredi over Burgess at fullback, Manfredi runs harder into the tackle and is a bit tougher defensively. I'd go as at as to say if play him at 1 for the rest of the season once fit with Burgess and Charnley on the wings.

I'd seriously like to see one of the three at fb. All strong in the air, can return the ball like it's no ones business. |

Manfredi and Burgess need to stay where they are when fully fit ie on the wings. The thought of Charnley at full back given just how poor he has become is frightening.
If the decision of who to accommodate if we get all out outside backs fit comes down to Bowen, Hampshire or Charnley, Charnley has to be bottom if that list.

Roosters have Latrell Mitchell to come in at FB. Supposed to be the best young back in Australia. Not sure he'll be ready for FB next year, but same goes for Burgess. A year of Brett Stewart would make sense. |
