The first punch was still stupid. Hitting someone that far off the ball can easily still get you a red, it may even be that was what he was sent off for because I'm not sure the ref/linesman saw the second one properly first time around.

Throwing punches anywhere is ill-advised, your risking 10 minutes or a red. My point was Hohaia flew in late and deserved smartening up, he just went too far.

With 13 out there Saints would have been hammered.
Saints going in at halftime 2-6 down against 12 men was a disgrace, they were a shambles.

Flower was 100% the main reason we lost but I agree with this to a point. We've played four really big games this year to my mind (WCC, Cas cup game, Wire play off and tonight) and he's been dreadful in the lot! You'd expect an experienced head like him to be a big game player but he's been the complete opposite. A flat track bully if ever there was one this year.

That is a pretty libellous comment so I'd be careful if I were you. The idea Wane sends his players out to to physically injure players with foul play is idiotic. It's putting two and two together having watched a TV program and coming up with five.

If there was a tactic on show tonight it was deliberately winding players up. Flower fell for it and I am sure there will be plenty of people in St. Helens giving Hohia a pat on the back for taking one for the team. And no, that is not an excuse for Flower either.

Flower hits Lance off the ball, Lance goes back and hits him, then flower floors him.

Then when out cold he kneels over him and smashes him again.

Flower started and finished it. Hardly Lance using his brain to take one for the team. He reacted to be taken out off the ball, more stupid than clever. He could have ended up giving a penalty to Wigan on our line because flower taking him off the ball was missed by the ref, it was only picked up on the half time report.
