I came out of the game feeling very good actually. Thought we played extremely well considering the players missing. They dont hand trophies out in June. I remember similar conversations on these boards last season....

Correct me if I am wrong, but a couple of days pre match Wane quoted that this was like a Grand Final for him and his team, so obviously we celebrated as such.
Saints have been rubbish for a lot of this season but have been top of the league for long periods, so I wouldn't say the mighty have fallen, in comparison to say getting beat 75-0 or going back in history to when Wigan got relegated to the second division.
Wigan, Leeds, Castleford, Warrington, Huddersfield and Saints can all win Superleague this year, so its "not all Wigan".

This is the Wigan forum so I think you will find that "it is all Wigan" on here, if your not happy with that...tough.

Love it, I was lambasted by all and sundry on here during the pre-season for "using excuses" when I dared to bring up Leeds' injury list in 2013.

At what point I have used injuries as "an excuse" for losing??? I have said that I believe a full strength Wigan side is better than a full strength Saints side. The best team won Friday, however if we meet again in the play offs and we are both at full strength I wont be worried, id rather play Saints than both Warrington and Leeds.

When did I say it was all Wigan?? I said I believe Wigan, Wire and Leeds all have better full strength 17s than Saints, and yes I do believe Saints will drop off at the business end if the season, its just an opinion

I think Saints had 11 players in the 17 to beat an in form Leeds. Like I,ve said before its "not all Wigan", but some goons on here will not accept that.

So it wasn't nearly an Under 19's team that played....just a team that had several guys who had previously played for your under 19's. Well going by that logic we had a virtual academy team out there with Sinfield, McGuire, Bailey, Hall, Ablett etc all having come through our academy.

I can count 5 that day that you can really call inexperienced Wigan youngsters, Manfredi, Burgess, Williams, Powell and Sutton.
