Mate, when you've followed Leeds as long as I have, being gracious in defeat becomes second nature.

I suppose you could trawl through everyone's posts over time and come up with inconsistencies. I guess that is what makes us human after all. We all change our minds over time especially if we are given new information. I am glad that I was able to at least prove to you that not all Wiganers moan about injuries. I do try my best to be fair and I also obviously rate Leeds (as do the vast majority of Wigan fans) as I posted earlier on in this thread. Excuse me for being a bit thick - but what is your point actually?

Majority of people know leeds are dangerous in the play off games but it doesn't change the fact you haven't won a challenge cup in god knows how long even even when your coach and players make a statement of intent on winning it and you failed in play offs last season. I full expect Leeds to reach finals and semi finals as a minimum doesn't mean your guaranteed to win them or the posters opinion are invalided, wigan might flop this year but i wouldn't go off on one and start lying about games last season.

At this stage last season how many predicted Wigan for the double? Or Huddersfield for the LLS? The only ones who could've were people who mistook hope for realism at that time. Now 12 months on these things happened despite them being unlikely.

While pre season predictions are a good way to keep these boards filled during the off-season, it all means nothing. At best you guess correctly and look like a knowledgeable rugby league fan or you end up with egg on your face giving trolls the ammo to clutter these boards and social media with their nonsense.

Leeds may well do poorly, they may win the double (although I really hope not). I for one won't be blindly predicting their demise as many (including some Wigan fans) predicted our decline after all the players we lost before last season. It does make a good debate though tbf.

Sorry but I think it's too easy to just slag opponents off without any justification. I think people should try to account for or explain their opinions on a forum. Otherwise it just goes back to playground name calling. He might well be right, after all only one team wins Super League with the rest "nowhere". But really, what does that prove? Well done to Leeds. Whilst last season's main competition in Hudds, Warrington and Wigan have dipped a little so far (although the season deciding games are still to be played) their ageing team has solidified and developed a winning formula.
