Anyone requiring West Stand tickets (on the club house side) will have to get them from Leigh or on the day, up to now Wigan have only asked for the 750 tickets behind the sticks.

The a Warrington game is a fringe squad/ U20s hit out for us and Wire hence the price.
For our game we are opening three of the four stands at LSV in anticipation of a 5k plus gate and will obviously have all the associated costs that brings, against Wire we are only opening one stand.
A near full strength Wigan vs Leigh at full strength playing for local pride and the Arthur Thomas memorial trophy (see below) not only makes for a great spectacle this year but hopefully as we develop as a force over the coming years could be an annual local event that we can all look forward to. For those old enough to remember the early 80s we were once looking down on you guys

I don't think £18 for an adult and two kids is too bad (friendly or not). I'd be pushed to find a cheaper 'Sunday Afternoon' option. Taking them to the cinema wouldn't be much cheaper...etc!

When I phoned Leigh the other day enquiring about West Stand tickets I was told that they had plenty left and also said Wigan only asked for South Stand tickets. |

Wigans 1st >>>>Leigh first team. I watched that challenge cup game on wigan tv the other night Wigan chalked it up as a win after 15 minutes. one has a huge salary cap and the best youth development in the country whilst the other one has a small cap and part time players.
much rather see fringe players + the new signings and a few first team players makes it much more enjoyable. |
