Can't take anything away from Hull today defensively, they rushed very effectively.

i dont disagree at all they was knackered from all the defending and became sloppy. We shouldn't be stifled that easy tho its disappointing to see players be caught out because there only option has been cut off.

Apart from Charnley saving a try, we didn't have to work that hard for the win. Hull had a couple of chances and were almost through on a couple of occasions but they just ended up dropping it. I've certainly seen worse games of rugby such as our drubbing of London in the Semi. The first 40mins were pretty good i thought, but let's face it, it wouldn't be rugby league without some fans slagging off their own code...

It wasn't a great game, but we did the job very well and nobody can take that away from us. Our name goes on the cup again.

Well done Wiggin from a Leigh Centurions fan personally i thought it was a decent game in the conditions and either side could have won the match with all the mistakes from both sides highlight was Charn try saving tackle on the young Hull full back brilliant ......

If you was a Hull fan, you'd be pretty annoyed with your teams handling of the ball. I know the weather was dreadful and I've never seen as bad at a final. The Fulham v Arsenal match was almost abandoned and the Charlton Ath match actually was abandoned.

Hopefully should we meet in the Final again it'll be a game more fitting to the occasion (and drier).

I know the feeling. I once went on your board as i'd noticed that Tesco Clubcard were doing deals for St Helens games so i started a thread to let you lot know. I got ripped to shreds, some even accused me of trying to bankrupt the club (probably an exaggerated memory). My point however is that when you post on a opposition board, however well intended some will automatically assume it's a troll. It's a shame but that's the way it is.

Well done Wigan, the best team won on the day, simple as. We didn't handle the conditions, dropped the ball like it was a bar of soap, and created very little. While many consider it to be a poor game, the conditions aloud for little else. Anyway well done, I had a great day out, and have no regrets about going to watch the game.

Congrats, best team won no doubt. It might not have been a classic for the neutral but those calling it "the worst cup final" might have found (if their team had actually made it there) it difficult on the day like we both did. Wigan didn't play great and we were woeful with ball in hand but that's Wembley, pressure, weather and all other factors combined. On the day, all you have to do is win, and you guys certainly knew how to do that better than we did - so well done, I wish we could have done what you did.

Your mistaking me for someone else. I have never been banned from any board on RLFANS (at least as far as I am aware )unlike some of the other characters posting abuse on here. Even Hogan didn't ban me !
