Sorry people, I only arrived back from Tenerife on Saturday night so I've just seen this. I would definately have helped out if I'd seen it earlier. Hope loads of money was raised! I was looking at all the flags at yesterdays game, they look class, would never have believed we could do that when the idea was first muted in the off-season! Great stuff!!

Having seen the cash poured into the wallet from all the buckets yesterday, there's quite a bit of counting and coppering up for Jukesays today.

There are far too many people to say Thank-you to who gave up their time yesterday but I will, when I get 5 mins in the next couple of days try to Thank Each and everyone of you for your efforts!

I'm sure a few of those who did volunteer who aren't in the "Clique" now realise that there Never has And Never Will be and encourage more people to join our meetings in future!

Once Again Many Thanks & I will try to give a bit more detail in the coming days regarding The Whos & The Hows!

Believe it or not we got quite a few contributions from Leeds Fans who said they were impressed by our efforts etc!

Maybe 1 or 2 of the people on both Boards will calm down and understand that it is a game where 99% of us understand the Fantastic relationship between all clubs and RL fans in general!






Some of the stuff I saw on here today disgusts me, and I hope those responsible feel ashamed and apologise "UNRESERVEDLY" for some of the things they have said not just in the last 24 hrs but in a lot of their posts!
On the other side of things I also read a few posts from other teams fans who seem to hate all things Wigan!
I have met Hundreds of fans of other clubs pre match and count many many has Friends!

Maybe some of the posters on here and other boards who seem to revel in 1 upmanship and Cheap point scoring would do well to actually go and meet and Talk RL to their opposing fans Face to Face some time and maybe, just maybe, a lot of this Generalisations,accusations and IMO idiotic behaviour would decrease?

Maybe? But I doubt it!

Sorry I couldn't help with the bucket collection, me and my brotherin law only got to the ground just after 6 and had to get our tickets from in the southstand bar.
