BBC coverage was rubbish and no I didn't go due to it being reduced capacity and not thinking I could get tickets, to my mate also having a gig that night.

wasnt a spear tackle, a spear tackle the hand has to be between the legs and drive the pl;ayed into the ground head first like a spear (hence the name). It was just a player over the horizontal.

Your allowed to compete for the ball in the air, but your not allowed to tackle player whilst he's in the air. Theres a difference between contact and a tackle in the air. The wigan player clearly went up to compete for the ball.
