I think I would be tempted to try Amos at Stand-Off with his step and Sam at Scrum Half. MM and Tommy swap at 9. I would just try it and if its not working revert back to the more regular positions.

In Madge we trust.

I think I would trust the judgment of a coach who has a squad of players playing like title challengers, as opposed to mediocre late bloomers.

Feka deserved to stay in. There was nothing wrong with his defence.

Indeed, but I'm still not sure about Bailey in the centres, however it was a good showing from him on Friday. But our three-quarters have had excellent strike ability so far this year, and Bailey just isn't that sort of player. I look forward to being proven wrong though

Good to see how Farell will fair in SL, although if memory serves me Madge seems to be playing with three subs most of the time and the final one used minimally, so I will not be suprised if we don't see much of him. Bring on the game though

Shocking that Feka isn't picked!

Fielden has a mare against Leeds and is retained but Feka has a blinder and is dropped?

I like Madge but his treatment of Feka is poor to say the least.

Not sure how long he played but that's not too bad. Not special, for sure, but he didn't exactly go missing in defense either. On the other side of that coin we wouldn't have won Friday without the things he did in attack. I personally would encourage him for a very positive and aggressive display but, of course, I'm not the coach and MM obviously knows what he wants.

Why's everyone on about Coley playing?
He's not in the squad is he?

Feka not playing is a weird one but im sure theres a good reason for it. MM has got everything right so far so theres no reason to doubt him now.

Whatever happens with Feka and FWIW I still think he'll play a good part this season, that try at KR means he will be remembered in Wigan for a long time to come.

Progress was made with Feka on Friday, but I feel that it will be a long process to get him where Madge wants him to be. I think big strides were made in attack and some progress was made in defence, he didn't miss many tackles I don't think. But I even noticed he wasn't controlling the play the ball in defence like the rest of the team was. IMO we will keep seeing an improved Feka from now on every time he plays.

Feka will be fully in the know why hes in and out of the team..i'm certain MM will have sat him down just like Mossop and told him wear the new levels of this club or in respects to fitness.

its upto him now to prove hes to MM standards..friday was a step in the right diection.

Coley returning is a big boost. Prescott being fit to play is another one. Mossop deserves his starting spot after an outstanding performance and Liam Farrell also earns his spot after some impressive performances at Widnes.

People should pay more attention to the fact clifford says he is 'rested' and not dropped? I can confirm Feka didn't miss a tackle on Friday, but he only made 12 tackles. His work rate in defence is still considerably lower than other players like O'carroll, Prescott, Fielden, Mossop and Tomkins etc.

Sean O'loughlin, Joel Tomkins and Lee Mossop are our hardest working forwards 'statistically'.

Straight out the John Monie school of coaching that one, except now we have DVD's, compared to Monie's file-o-fax!

It's what he's there for. Rather he iron out the kinks in his game elsewhere than at Wigan. His attacking play is sensational, but his inability to challenge for a high ball would be highlighted in this team - with the way the Warriors defence is playing, teams would just opt to kick to Ainscough everytime they were near the try line.

If it's correct that Coley is fit and replaces Feka then my team would be:

Just can't see what Deacon offers from the bench, would sooner have him starting & helping Sam organise the team, plus his kicking game is an additional tool for the team. Tommy offers more coming off the bench and making an impact against a tired opposition.

As for the accusations about our style of play, well the fair play table shows us in 3rd place so we can't be as bad as people are making out.

It would appear all the negative comments are just a "witch-hunt" by those who don't like to think about Wigan being a success again.

I know we aren't popular but this is getting to be a joke, best way to shut them up will be to go and win a trophy.
