Won't be the same but it will still be great. All the smaller modern grounds are brilliant when full especially for away fans, it will still be superb.

IIRC the plan is for standing at both ends, as it helped them hit capacity at a lower cost

Saints allocated another 1,000+ last week so plenty left at the minute for Good Friday but sales are pretty brisk.

If it hasn't already been pointed out elsewhere, it may be of interest to anyone not living close to the ground that you can order Good Friday tickets online via Saints' official site and there are no booking fees if you opt to collect on the day - always pleased when clubs offer that deal.

Just thought id point out that i went down to the DW this morning to get a cas ticket and theres still a pile of saints tickets left if anybody is still thinking of getting one.

Wire are meant to be taking a huge following to Saints on Friday night.

They've recieved 5,900 tickets and have got 1200 of those left upto now. It will increase their support with it not being on tv but that is still an outstanding following.

If they have any tickets left for sale on the day of the game I may head over. I really can't believe it's not on tv.

Hopefully they will be able to fill the North stand for the Big One then. Cant wait for that one!

I went to a Fans Forum in Burtonwood last night and even Eddie Hemmings who was chairing the event was stunned that they weren't showing it on Sky....

He's very excitied about going to Crusaders!!

They'll easily fill the North Stand for the Big one and with it being so cheap I wouldn't be suprised if they ask(and get) for another thousand or so.

Thats presuming that they're still playing well at that point.

TBF to sky though who'da thought it would be a potential big game 6 weeks ago at the beginning of the season? How many Wire Saints games hve there been over the past few years where they've just been boreathons because the inevitable wire drubbing has always happened. Its one of the few games ive stopped watching in the past few years until now....when ironically it seems it will be the first time it might be a match and the first time its not on sky!!

to be fair to sky though its a wonder they've persevered with this fixture for so long....its just a shame that when theyve finally dumped it, it finally looks like a game!!
