| sam had a good game last night, his kicking game was extremely evident and if he had more support on some occasions we would of got over a few times. sean oloughlin was immense, he should definately start 13 for england in a few weeks.
tomkins can learn from long, he produced a masterful experienced performance last night (although i still dont think he scored).
saints need to get rid off that pathetic pryce, he has turned from a player with alot of talent to an absolute donkey!

TL isnt a half back but as we have no other options he has to play there. In effect now Tomkins is our only playmaker. You stop him you stop Wigan which Saints did well last night.

| Last night our pack got steamrollered.
We didn't have an answer to the Puletua/Fasa'lu rotation Potter used.
Saints won it up the middle.
I didn't think Sam T had his best game for Wigan but to suggest he didn't show up I just don't get. He was the player Saints marked, I bet they knew he'd turned up.
Overall though the pack was well beaten and our half backs didn't have their best of games.
Well, there a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!

| If ifs an' ands made pots and pans there would be no need for tinkers.
We lost last night, good game. Until Coley/Fielden go we'll achieve nothing. Tomkins i feel is our solution at #6 plenty of time yet for his development.
It's easy to jump on Tomkins back, i can't see why. But i think we expected too much from him. Saints wrapped him up well last night and dominated in the pack.
Piggy didn''t really do much to help in the creativity and Tommy took a battering. Sam worked his in defense and so did the whole team it was an awesome effort in defense. Just lacked that finishing edge.
Bring on '10.

Pryce has been awful at times this year.
If he gets an England jersey I can see him being shown up as he was in the World Cup

I agree, I will be suprised if he isn't in the England team. On form it should be Mcguire and Tomkins but knowing smith it will be Mcguire Burrow with Tomkins 18th man
Tomkins should play against wales and france IMO, we should win them easily whatever team we put out. It will be good to see how aus and NZ do against them compared to us. I wish we could play PNG, Tonga and Samoa though.

| I didn't think he did too badly, he didn't look as dominating as he has done in previous matches, however there are a number of reasons for that. He was behind a pack that was being dominated is a major one.
Another is that he's a young lad that has just played in three knockout games of RL in a row, something he's never done at this level before. That brings pressures that can only usually be dealt with after gaining experience of playing in those kinds of matches.
He's probably just as exhausted mentally as he is physically, you can't afford to switch off as much as you can in standard league games.

We're going have to agree again (frightening)
What we talked about pre-match happened in that first 10 minutes of the second half.

Why?
It will be poor quality yet again from England with stupid errors and no ideas against the tough defence of aus! We have a slim chance against NZ but not much if they bring a good team.
The crowds will not be sell outs which will just be embarrasing for our game on tv! The games against France and Wales will be walk overs and no one will go to them.
It will be an aus v nz final with aus walking all over them.
I am waiting till 2013 before I think we have a chance, that is enough time to build but I am sure that by 2011 those hopes will go as we continue to pick on reputation.

Why are some rugby league fans obsessed with crowds? I'll stick my neck out and say that someone will go to the games. Let's see who's right.

So you celebrate your victory in what was a good close game of rugby by posting bitter ,vile and totally unproven allegations, and against the wrong player . You really are a gobe of the highest, sorry lowest order.
