I can't see how he can seriously be thinking of keeping him on after the way this seasons gone.

He's got a decent squad at his disposal and probably the best squad Noble has had in his time here yet he's not getting anywhere near the best out of it and doesn't seem able to motivate them.

He's never been able in his time here to get the side to play consistant rugby league over the course of at least 3-4 months and without that he can't be kept on imo.

Time for us to move on.

That isn't a very comforting thought.

Now you could say that just proves we sack coaches too quickly given the other 25 have less than 3 yrs 2 months. The trouble with that is many of those 25 were successful such as Lowe who were here obviously less time than Noble.

So anyone arguing Noble has not had enough time is on thin ice IMO especially as all most Wigan fans have expected is year on year improvement not instant trophy success.

It's definatly got the most depth to it by a long long way to the point where he seems to have options all over the shop. Even when 3 or 4 players are missing we don't have to fill the team with untested kids.

That just shows what a poor job he's done this year.

I want rid of Noble and think we should have sacked him when he went for the Catalans job, but we should only sack him when we have a successor lined up.

I shall campaign vigorously for a new contract for Noble. I'm certain he will achieve great things at Wigan given sufficient time.

I have just come back of holiday's and the rumors that i have heard is that wigan want stephen kearney as the new coach... is this a new rumor or has it been going round a while... like i said i have only just come back of holidays....

you say noble is going a good job with the players he has, would you not agree that this is his team now? by that i mean he's had a say in which players to sign/re-sign/release ect??

if the players he's had a say in keeping arnt good enough then he should be sacked for that reason alone
