Did anyone else think that the first reciever was normally standing to far away from the PTB last night and then the same with the 2nd recierver being too far away from the first?

If they would have been closer to each other the ball would have been quicker and there would have been more space out wide as well and the attack would have flown better instead of looking so clueless

I thought on some offensive plays we stood too deep and the blitz defence took us back 20yards.

Not just me that thought that then.

Somebody mentioned in another post that they thought we played too flat whereas i thought we played exactly the opposite. During one tackle in the second half near their line we lost 20metres because all the line we're far too deep.

I was crying out during the game for one of Leuluai or Smith to get closer to the play the ball because in those conditions the ball was taking too long to get to them and when it did it was usually a bad pass.

If we would have done this we would have had quicker ball and more space to work with. We know we have the quality out wide to score points but we just didn't let ourselves do that

Another move i've talked about and others have is us trying to work something with Feka close to the line.

In bad weather like you get at the start of the season(and odd times like last night later in the year) the games are low scoring i you need to be cute in your play. I thought Hull Kr played the conditions better then us last night so deserved their win.

We're not clever enough.

We defintely don't use our props well enough close to the line.

Whenever we do it is blatantly obvious what's going to happen and they get marked out
