With Prescott looking a real prospect aswell as O'Carroll it's possible we could let him go after next season and only have to sign 1 prop to replace him if any at all dependant on how good Coleys replacment is at the end of this year.

i remember just before fielden left bradford, noble mentioned how fielden had been askin him for a few season to let him go to a new club cos he needed a change from bradford. I think this could be extended to needing a change from noble. 9 years is a long time listenin to the same voice. if he moved to wakey, i reckon kear could reinvigorate his career.

Fielden is a passenger in our team - the sooner he moves on the better. He never runs on to the ball at pace. When he makes contact he never tries to break through and just falls to his knees. Feka did more than Fielden and he was on the field for less time!!! Get rid.

Fielden really infuriates me taking the ball up, he very rarely chooses gaps as opposed to players.

However I also suggest some people watch the game again. His tackling is outstanding, works especially well with Locky. I think it dawned on me last night, how much we miss that aspect of his game when he's not there. One example being the performance at Barrow last week.

That said, he doesn't justify his salary.

Horrendous in attack, good in defence.

He shouldn't be dropped as we have no-one better and available. However I like most can't wait for the day when Fielden and his massive salary are out the door.

yes ok, I admit he has gone backwards horribly in form, however he was as bad last night as some people are making out, yes ok he lost the ball from a few loose carries (even if a few were knocked out) but yet when he retained the ball he was making nearly 10m a carry which tbf is not too bad a return, plus his defence was very good last night, he put in a few big hits. He is lacking in confidence atm but "if" we get some consistency and form together we may see him regain this, but he certainly did not have a bad game last night.

Sound like you are talking about a couple of tarts,,I for 1 would*nt fancy being on the end of either of them !

Unless there is a massive improvement we should look to move him on at the end of this season.

I'm also losing the faith in Stu. Can't really knock his defence but in attack he's nothing. He may well have lost his interest in the game, I think he's quite a few business interests outside the game.

Other than Hock and Feka we're struggling.

Who is going to take him?? He's on such a big wage we're stuck until his contract runs out and that will hamper what we can do with the squad for the next two years.

He is under contract. Why can't people get this when discussing squad movements.

He is stealing a (massive) wage. Should do the right thing and retire.

Feka has a great attitute to playing. Yes you can debate whether hes not fit enough etc but tell me one time he hasnt looked keen to take the ball in.

In terms of playing as a prop I think Feka has the perfect attitude to taking drives and steams onto them like a train and doesnt even stop even when his feet come off the ground. If Coley and Fielden ran like him we'd look a damn sight better than we do now.

Feka needs to run onto the ball from deeper, he gets the ball after a 1 metre run up and it bugs me.

Fieldens tackiling technique is text book but he has lost all desire to play rugby, a break from rugby might sort him out.

We need to replace him with a good young prop with potential like LMS, Burgess or even Scott Wheeldon, Wheeldon takes the ball in really hard.

It was such a good team performance last night but Fielden and Coley were both not good enough. Had one of those two turned up with a big performance like the other 15 players did we may have won.

Fielden Coley and Feka is not a good combo. To be able to use Feka at his best you have got to have 3 other props who can have long spells and really win the battle with the opposion forwards and then let Feka punch holes everywere for 15 min spells. Currently dont have a good enough balance in the prop department IMO.

Ever since he got floored by Mason he's been terrible, shame really because like everyone says 3 years ago or so he was a great prop.

He really has gone poor. Not only has he lost his go forward but his ball security is awful. Many teams are targeting the ball when tackling him as they know hes likely to be holding it loosely.I recall him making 1/2 half decent carrys against Saints which for your so called pack leader is far from good enough. As for Coley i thought he did ok last night.

A player at rock bottom sums up Fielden at the moment

its such a shame to see stu playing so poorly as he is one of the best players to wear the bulls shirt but he just has no desire anymore i also think he was run into the ground at odsal having to play 80 mins every week and he is feeling it now

Agreed. Would also love to see him properly set up for a charge a couple of metres from the line. I think it only happened once last night.

I also thought Coley did OK last night. His defence during his first spell was terrific.

This could be my imagination but after Fielden's first knock-on, did the hooker prefer to use him as dummy runner? We often do this with him and Feka because they're the obvious first receivers. But more than once, Fielden looked annoyed the ball hadn't come to him.

He does do that, he acts a lot on the field, he acts hard waving his fist and when someone calls his bluff he cacks in his pants eg Mason and Crabtree.

He acts like he is angry and aggressive but its all a front, he needs a break from rugby, I would seriously send him on loan to a NL1 side for a month, if he has got any pride it will provide an almighty kick up the backside and hopefully we would get the old Fielden back.
