| I put Brough in my team. There isn't really much difference between 6 and 7 in the modern game. Soward is class, no one can doubt that just because he's been playing in a poor team, he would walk into any Super League team. In a top 4 club he would be seen as the best player in the league.

| How many games has Soward played?
Less than a dozen I'd guess
Dobson and Brough for me in the halves

Almost agree with your line up, but would go for:-
Tomkins
Charnley
Watkins
Cudjoe
Lineham (think they will pick Hall)
Brough
Myler / Chase (tough one - Myler had a few injuries but and Chase disciplinary problems)
Crabtree
Lunt
Peacock
Ferres (if Farrell had carried on as he started I would have probably picked him)
Delaney
O'Loughlin

That's not what he's saying.

Really! Have you seen Brough play all season? Only missed one game (apart from being rested against Bulls this weekend) and been outstanding in most games.
You could say that it's easier for him to shine behind a pack that is on top - but that has not always been the case this season.

It's a joke if Mossop makes the squad. Other than that I can't really argue.

| Not just because I am a Leeds fan but Why people would choose lineham or monaghan ahead of hall baffles me.hall has scored less than Monaghan yeh but has made more assists than both, far more tackle busts and over 1,000 more metres gained than both of them players.hall is second on the metres made chart only behind Jamie peacock.

How are you even arguing that Brough is better than Soward?
It's like Huddersfield fans live in a little Huddersfield bubble.

| The dream team is about the stand out performer for the year in the particular season. Soward can't be in the team since he only played a dozen games, and from what i've seen, he didn't exactly set the league alight [Apparently he played well the last 2 weeks, by all accounts. Brough will be in the halves, no doubt. Sinfield might get the shout as the other half, being as he is Sir SuperKev, the greatest RL player of all time.

Well the Great Wigan Warriors are coming to the Huddersfield bubble this Thursday lets see if they burst it or flounder in it ????
Dream team is subjective every fan sees it differently my Man of Steel would be Jamie Peacock this year based on his three games against us even though Leeds lost all three !!!

So if Soward was the best half back in that period then why not?

A bunch of RL journos, so it has the same credibility as people putting their teams on here.

| Brough has been far better than Soward this year, I'd have Brough at 6 then Hanbury or Bosc as the other half.

In that case, perhaps Kearney should be selected over Sam. In the first few months he was in some brilliant form?
It isn't selected on a few good months, more on consistent high level performance. Soward has shown a few flashes of his talent, but nothing that's made people stand up. He was absent on their biggest game of the season .... Taxi for Soward
