Crazy idea to let Pryce play.

The whole Pryce thing has been talked about a million times but a motivated Karl Pryce is a different animal to the normal KP.

Why give them the option 2 play one of thier starting players?

Hughes instead of Tuson for me as well. I thought Tuson dropped off a couple of tackles again on Sunday and Hughes put in a very solid display.

Whilst he isn't, we've seen him finish off tries in the corner (Murrayfield v Hudds last season). However unlikely, should KP score the match winner on Friday there won't be many happy people on here. Crazy to let him play.

I know I might come across as biased here, but I would say the same if any club was involved but...

I think we are well within our rights to play Pryce and it's good your club is allowing it. He is part of our team for now, I assume we are paying his wages; it's not like he's ever going to return to your first team either.

As has been said, the moment someone puts a big tackle on him (which I'm sure the whole Wigan team knows as well) he'll be less than useless for the rest of the game.

Wigan insisted as part of the loan conditions that he played against them.

If the loan agreement says Wigan can chose whether to allow Pryce to play against us you haven't got any rights over the matter at all. We don't know if that is the case so maybe Quins secured a different loan agreement to that arranged with every other player loaned out from Wigan in the last couple of seasons. Not one has been allowed to face us so far IIRC.

IL said at the fans forum that no Wigan players were allowed to play for their "loaned" clubs in the Challenge Cup as we did not want them cup tied. However no mention was made of Superleague games, so Pryce may play.

Shame for Lee. But I'd rather he were missing as opposed to Joel. I hope Hughes does get the chance again tonight. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing him play in the flesh yet in Wigan shirt, so I'm looking forward to that this evening.

I am sure they have implemented it in league games before now. Charnley when he was at HKR? Can't remember but whatever, if that's the agreement and Quins signed it you could not complain if it was implemented.

When Charnley was at HKR, he was recalled and played for us against HKR.
