I'd guess Carmont's injury has prompted that, with Gleeson and possibly Goulding & Roberts still out.

Great kid, hope he gets his chance with you guys as from what I've seen he has the potential to go all the way. Been a real asset in the games he's played.

It's a shame that the squad a year older than them wasn't good enough to provide players suitable for the first team then

. Think the most we've had is four around that age, but that's then been bolstered by the likes of Ashurst, Magennis, Moore, Clough, Wheeler and Eastmond who are either the year above or one or two years older.

you could do a lot worse than play him as a straight swap for carmont, I know you lads see him as a winger but the kid has looked a natural in the centre for us.

With it being our last home game (who knows with the playoffs) the players and coaches are coming out to milk the applause for the season after the final hooter regardless of the result, it would be nice if someone could mention it to young josh and get him out with our players at the end, he would get a tremendous reception in thanks for his efforts.

Yep, that was a poor squad, the only ones to come through from that group were Mossop, Sam Tomkins, McIlorum & Goulding.

Would be nice to see that happen, hopefully someone will suggest it at the end. (unless he gets a hattrick and we're sick of the sight of him

I think our two clubs will be carrying the England team in a few years. I can't think of many youngsters I'd put into our squad, but the ones I would come from Wigan.

But that doesn't include McIlorum or Goulding

We've had our 4 centres Welham, Webster, Walker and Ratu out most the season. You've just gotta play the cards your dealt.

from the last 4 post. you are forgetting Liam Farrell, regards to Billinge Lump, Farrell,Tomkins,Tuson,Joel, Mcllorum, Goulding are all young and done really well this year performing as young lads in a table topping team.

Be a good chance for the lad to show what he's got. He's been a real surprise package since going to Hull KR. Possibly the heir apparent for Carmont in 2012?
