Setanta btw will continue to broadcast this weekend whilst they consider their options. I would not be surprised if the channel is pulled on Monday and they take administration which would be a p*sser with the Origin Match on Wednesday.

Setanta also lost its scottish football rights today so the channel is now a complete dead duck subscription wise now so expect death any day now.
ESPN have picked up the Premier League rights - can't see them going for the NRL.

Pretty much all the other sports have been picked up by others however haven't heard anything about the NRL, plus RFU wont be happy just agreed a deal with Setanta and now they go under. HA HA

They aren't broadcasting to the UK after 5pm tonight. Ireland is unaffected. |

ESPN have the the rights for nrl anyway. Thats what setanta told me when i complained about the reduction in number of games a few months back |
