Maybe they should have held the shield presentation until this week? That may have pulled a few extra in, but quite frankly when it's more than likely to be a repeat fixture in 2 weeks time, the fans are right to be picky about where they spend their money.

We've only sold about 8k tickets according to E-ticketing. With walk ups on the day maybe 9k.

Probably because if we win tonight there's a very good chance they'll have to pay again to watch them play the same opponents, except that game will mean much more. Personally I don't mind, I go with mates so I'm only paying for my own ticket, but I can see why someone who is paying for himself plus wife, kids etc would swerve this one.

If we lose tonight I hate to think what next weeks attendance will be!

I was going to suggest top team is crowned champions, but then that would probably count as me try to derail a thread.

My count from the website shows 10367 sold, so with walk ups it's not a million miles off what you would get for a league game, considering this is 70% likely to be repeated in a couple of weeks and last year it was 12k and that was a derby.

No dead rubbers, a genuine advantage is gained for every place higher you finish and no repeat fixtures. Sky would never go for this though due to the fact that it reduces the number of playoff games from 9 currently to 5.

Could it be that those not in attendance actually believe that the weekly rounds are more important to them? Despite the brainwashing we get from the RFL and Sky I am delighted that the majority of RL fans in this country place more importance and create the biggest attendances for the competition that is by far the hardest to win, i.e. the LLS.

That is because the government banned it as of 1st Sept I think. Only decent thing this govt has done!

Still cost me £42 for two full priced tickets when my son who is 18 normally got a concession as a young adult and didn't for this game. I think it's things like that which get peoples goat.

Thankfully our best performance in several weeks made it money well spent especially as he is off to Uni on Tuesday so that was his last home game for a while.

I remember hearing about this, that they were asking companies to not charge, and would legislate if necessary. Must admit I was initially surprised when I saw no fee, didn't realise it was now in place.

The £2 internet booking fee seems to have reappeared for tickets for next Friday!?

Our 2 tickets arrived last thursday in 2 seperate envelopes . No booking fee and no postage to pay .

Hmm...It's strange, booked tickets online for the Cats game, no booking fee or anything, just booked them for next Friday and there was a 2 quid charge. Wish they'd make their minds up. I'm not whinging about the £2 btw
