The cynic in me makes me think that it's a ploy to sell tickets before the teams are announced.

I would hope a decent side is sent after the past couple of years, especially as Leigh have turned down other SL clubs offering strong sides, and indeed this seems to be happening.
It would be great for this to be a competitive annual fixture, remember LSV has undersoil heating and in recent years when friendlies have been cancelled they have been played at LSV, therefore it becomes a guaranteed preparation for the season ahead on a first class surface.

Must have missed something but isn't it £14 and £2 kids bought in advance before the weekend , so parent and child can sit down in a new stand for £16, after your last game was winning the GF I thought you'd be gagging to watch this years squad have a run out - I am with our lot

I got our tickets today , four gogs and three "adults"

£14/2 for south stand at LSV, £13/5 for Workington game in their stand - these are potential bill payers for championship clubs

That's what great about life, choice but that isnt a cost choice though is it? The tenner is for the terrace also, not that steep and beyond the speedway track if memory serves me right

I know there is an agreement to send a strong team but I just doubt it will happen.

I don't think £18 for an adult and two kids is too bad (friendly or not). I'd be pushed to find a cheaper 'Sunday Afternoon' option. Taking them to the cinema wouldn't be much cheaper...etc!

I went down this morning for my ticket, the bloke on the window asked I wanted a concession, I was so chuffed when he said that I almost offered him the full price.

I don't understand why we weren't sent any tickets for the West Stand, as we would have preferred to watch the game from the side rather than behind the sticks.

When I phoned Leigh the other day enquiring about West Stand tickets I was told that they had plenty left and also said Wigan only asked for South Stand tickets.

For all you coming over we have been told the legends bar will be a proper fans bar from now on, all the old pics up etc
This bar is on site outside the LSV and all are welcome for some banter, at last the stadium is feeling like home
