The amassing thing about Jerry is that he is still so raw, but he is one hell of an athlete only started playing the sport at the age of 14 and is massively strong. His positional sense is that of a non natural player but a real quality coach could make him a top class player.
Having said that Charnley looks to have very similar attributes but superior foundations on the game.
If we were going to sign any player from Hudds it should be a lad called Jarred Simpson, Roger Simpsons son (ex Bradford fullback) only in scholarship but I have never seen such a talented kid, has it all, pace, power, hands and tactical nous. |
