It just gets a bit much at the minute when the only players mentioned anlysis are Benny Westwood and golden boy Myler

I know one things for sure, Boots N All sucks balls, and it's not just a recent thing, the shows been going down hill for a long time.

But now it's got to the point where it's not even worth watching, the match analysis is poor and the magazine style pieces are trivial and embarrassing.

All in all it's crap, and it feels like it's just a tool for Eddie and Stevo to rant about whatever they like.

To see Eddie cold-faced with fury on the day we won the first round of our 'trial' re. the salary cap issue was enough to decide me that he isn't just a biased berk, he's someone who really doesn't like us.

They were faar too busy saying how good a coach Nobby was last season to bother saying anything about the team but who really gives a stuff?

But even that was probably a back-handed compliment.

I wouldn't worry about anything he says tomorrow during the game. Is it just me or are the commentators mics far too quiet? You can never hear them over the noise of the crowd/referee. Judging by this thread they probably do it on purpose

I enjoy Cullens more technical view of incidents in matches, though he isn't half as good as Rea was in the same role. I tend to turn it off after that bit though.

I'd love to see a more detailed show about each weekends games in a similar vein to the NRL tactics show. It would be a great deal more interesting and hopefully give more of an insight to some of the more clueless fans who always seem to blame the winger for being left 2 on 1.

No doubt at all Cruncher. Stevo was sneering at the Wigan fans and the club in an article last year in League Express (or the other one) for thinking we would be better off with another coach. He was basically accusing us of arrogance because he had the impression that we believed we had the God-given right to win trophies, where if he bothered to do his research he would see that the majority of us were more concerned about us playing decent rugby first and foremost, after all if we're not being entertained it seems a bit pointless getting excited over a cup of any sort.

My point however was that it seems a bit daft getting annoyed by people who clearly and notoriously don't know what they're talking about. Their opinions are no more valid or worth rising to than internet trolls or Garry Schofield.

I enjoy watching 'Boots'n' All'.
Of course Eddie and Stevo have strong opinions but don't we all.
Their enthusiasm and love of the game shines through.
I'm not keen on Terry O'Connor though as his 'English' leaves a lot to be desired and grates...THEM play the balls...he DONE a big hit...etc.

It's not Just Wigan though, they have open season on quite a lot of teams. They have made quite a few negative comments on Saints over the years (Some Justified I hasten to add.) However, they do this for all teams! As I've said it's ther job as commentators to raise interest in the game. If they manage to do this in their eyes by creating controversy, then so be it for them. Look at this thread for example, another 5 pages about them!

Just thought I'd add my two cents. Introducing the Wigan/Warrington game the other week with "Mickey Higham's chance to show Wigan they were wrong to let him go" was an all time low in my opinion. Let it go fellas...

I pointed this out the first, second and third weeks of the season and I'm likely to mention it in forthcoming weeks but you can't compete at Super League if you insist on scratching your bum, but thats three tries to Wigan, three scratched bums to Salford.'

At times Eddie does seem to favour wire and saints , probably more saints... Though even you lot must admit the most ridiculously biased member of the sky team is Phil Clarke.. The guy is cringeworthy at times.
