Just watched the game at the HJ earlier this year as we have a few games recorded on our Sky and come Friday I would easily settle for this again after looking at the Dire board of the ways they want to win the match and theres a few saying but running over Tomkins etc.

Back up over 1200, 300 just appeared in east stand.

They maybe returns from Warrington as were the ones in the West Stand yesterday as they were in the North West and North East corners.

You weren't given any, but the end sections of the East & West were blocked off in case Wire needed them - as it is, they haven't sold as many as expected so WS10 and ES1 have been released for general sale to anyone that wants them.

Disappointing from Wire, after all the banging on they do about having the best away support in the league

Expecting us to sell around 6k was a bit too much.

Considering at Wilderspool that was our ENTIRE attendance including away speccies, i think that's a very impressive away support.

If Wire manage to bring the 4900ish the North holds that will be a tremendous effort

IF they do it would be a good effort but it would put to bed once and for all the famous MYTH about the famousn 6k the took to the pig shed!! If they can't bring the famous 6k for the BIGGEST game of the year at a ground were they done pretty well over the years then they didnt take take 6k to an early season game with were the have an embarrassing record. SIMPLES!!

Last league game there alot wanted to see it.

To fill the North Stand and the first block of the East Stand you would need to have sold approximately 4,800 tickets.

as predicted the attendance predictions have been blown out

so the crowd in my oppinion will be about 22,000 inclding 4,000-4,500 Wire fans.

what you have to look at that though is
a) it was the last ever game at KR before they move
b) we actually thought the bad run was going to come to an end, everyone wanted to claim 'i was there'
c) like you say, we've done ok against Wigan in the past
d) time of year, some people are on holiday now
e) Catalans away next week

a lot of factors went in favour for getting a big away support that day

just wait till friday then see,not all wire fans will be in north stand,so if north not sold out doesnt mean 6k wont be there.

So according to Mike Parsons of the impartial Warrington Guardian there were exactly BANG ON 6500 Wire fans there. Why not 6324 or 6752? Ill tell you why HES GUESSING!!

The estimates on here have been based on there being a 10% reduction for H&S, but that was actually increased to 15% during last season, so the North Stand allocation is approximately 4,500 - there were another 300 available in the East if required, and another allocation in the West should you shift the two previous allocations.
