I still think we'll finish either 4th/5th. We were in this position last season and still finished 4th. Getting Roby and Lomax back fit is vital. Lomax especially as he is probably as integral to what we do with the ball, as Tomkins is for you. I'm not saying he is as good (as he isn't yet), merely that he is very important and we are missing his presence.

Man City reference is simple, it doesnt matter about making profit as long as your not going bust, we are a sports club not a bank. An easier reference might be Salford, I doubt they will turn a profit any time soon but I also suspect they will be along way from having 'cash flow problems'

We didn't break that cap that year. We asked our players to defer payments to the following year. This was found to be 'Not in the spirit of the cap' HTH.

All sport works in cycles. I'm not overly convinced with the current Saints management but I imagine it will get sorted one way or another and we'll be back as a force. The question is when.
