Do we have an idea of the total sold including the RFL?

Nothing has been said about total sales for over a week. I would imagine total sales must be around 20,000 by now but I would expect the club and RFL to use this landmark to issue a marketing statement saying "almost a sell out/get your tickets to avoid disappointment".

Does anyone know how many tickets St George have sold?

Just been on the Dragons league unlimited forum and they reckon around 100 have signed up for the official tour and are aware of perhaps 50 more that will make the journey.

Also it is apparent that the Aussies think they will hammer us. Very dismissive of SOL and Sam.

good question, whose rules are you going to play to, nrl or super league?? my guess would be SL as previous years?? and id hazard a guess at silverwood being Ref!

I would take ganson to ref us next week always fair in clashes agianst the aussies, forget what he gets up to away from the field

Apparently, the RFL will submit the names of 3 British refs to St George and they will select the one they prefer.

BTW I think Wigan's warming up for the WCC is the right way to go. At Leeds the last two games it appeared that pre-season and even during early-season games that the WCC was all they cared about. As a result they put in fairly rubbish displays before the WCC and clearly lacked fluency. Well done to Maguire for pushing the idea that you want to actually be in form before a big game.

Father Ted Andy Platt didn't play, he had signed for another club (in australia) and opted out of the game because he didn't want to get injured.In fact if i remember rightly Billy mcginty played at prop because we had none available, thats why the win was remarkable..wigan were given no chance at all by anyone.

Also for the Brisbane game Jack Robinson got the brisbane broncos to agree to a winner takes all payday.
during the game the australian commentators kept saying that they couldn't see a vacant seat.
but when the time came to pay up brisbane tried to get out of the deal by saying there were hardly any
spectators and therfore they would be handing over a reduced amount.
There was quite a rumpus about it at the time and i don't know if it was ever resolved. The attendance was
