I have read with some interest most of the 38/39 pages that have been posted on this thread and suddenly Sam Tomkins name is thrown into the ring. (I cant remember if Sams name has been mentioned before),
The plot gets worse ,Hock is thrown out of the club and Sam disappears for the duration of 4 friendlies on the pretence that Wane wants to look at other options for fullback.
Sam spent a lot of time in the last couple of weeks in Mallorca making an advert for S/L with Bradley Wiggins.

God help us if one of the anti R/L papers get hold of this.

Tomkins hasn't done anything. Bewareshadows is illustrating how easy it is to start a rumour/say something without saying anything.

Tomkins has nothing whatsoever to do with what is happening. In many respects Hock was an unfortunate witness. The incident is current and going through the courts.

And Connolly did not want to leave Saints which is the irony they hold the grudge against him even today and it was the owners who sold him to Wigan and made him move. Saints fans still think RL started in 2000.

I held nothing against Connolly, he went for the money, its his job and got to get what he can as its a short career.

Gaz Hock was treated like the saviour had returned when he'd returned from at two years drug ban, it was like the hero had returned.

He was still a great lad when he gouged somebody, pushed the ref, headbutted LMS and all the other poor behaviour he did on the field and off.

The crazy thing is, you lot 100% backed his shocking behaviour, especially the gouging but the second he wants more money, you lot think he's the devil.

He's a horrible horrible person and your better off without him, he brings the game down with his shocking behaviour.

NO he did not go for the money you seriously need to watch Super League Supermen where he says he would have stayed at Saints for half the money but they sold him to Wigan for the fee. It was Saints who were greedy not him.

I don't know why i made your posts visible, and will mute them again. To say that Hock was welcomed back as a saviour, or a hero is complete garbage.

What does that make all the saints fans who said they would sign him over the last few weeks whilst this has all been going on?

Not sure I remember many treating him like a hero through his drugs ban? Just debate as to whether we should or shouldn't stand by him as a club and given the Newton situation that followed I would suggest still it was the right thing to do.
I don't remember too many treating him like a hero for gouging either? Mainly condemnation for his stupidity and certainly not widespread acclaim for him.
I certainly remember criticism of him for the LMS incident from many fans (not all) but certainly not again widespread hero worship as you are trying to Mae out.

I see you didn't hold it against Connolly,but yet some saints fans booed 10/15 years later so surely given what seems like your criteria for judging fans then that means ALL saints fans did?

If you want to identify certain individual posters who may have treated him like a hero and backed him no matter what (some even now hence 40plus pages) then fair enough but don't try and come on with a sweeping generalisation to fit all Wigan fans to try and make out we're all brain dead.
End of the day saints fans hero worshipped longy so what does that make ALL saints fans given his past and current woes?

You've been outed as a total phony.

You dismiss the ludicrous and OTT manner in which Gary Connolly was abused by the Saints fans because you personally, or so you say, didn't have a problem with him (and you've even got the facts of his departure wrong). At the same time, you criticise the Wigan fans for giving bad-apple Hock a hero's welcome, even though lots of them didn't, and even though your own crowd rarely had a bad word to say in public about an equal bad apple - Sean Long - to the point where they applauded their club for not getting rid of him.

Next time you come trolling, I'd think more carefully about your angle of attack.
