Im not even disbuting how good he is. But fact is hes lost 4 (sorry not 3) finals in a row. The best turn up and on form of the play offs Fielden is pushing him for that spot. He makes big meters over a season but when it matters he does not perform at the same level. Yes he got targeted just as Fielden does or any decent prop. Good thing for England is if seleceted the 3 of Morley, Graham and Fieden should compete with the Aussies.

Im not being funny pal or looking for a heated debate but fielden ain't a patch on graham. Ive always liked fielden from his bulls days and seems a very honest bloke when ive heard him talk about his poor form at wigan but he not in the same league as graham.

I think he should be on the plane to play down under in the four nations as his form has been good this year.

Graham needed someone to take the work load off him last night but next year he will have a very very good prop in josh perry with him.

Over the season OFC Graham has been one of the best props in SL aloing with Morley. But for the last month to 6 weeks no prop has played as well as Fielden has. Graham does need a lot of help. LMS is a decent player who will help out along with Perry.

I think saints next year with graham, perry, tony p and LMS will have the best props in the super league.

Perrry is a top class signing.

Clough will also be a 5th prop.

I'd say it's pretty stupid to say graham caused it when he played for 20 mins after and kicked goals.

Pat or the wigan club ain't said he caused it.

I think it's a case of, you want graham to be the cause so you can bag him.

James Graham was a complete bitch last night. He has the potential to be the best in the world but his persistent dummy spitting is going to cost him. I was surprised he lasted until the end with his dirty play and constant back chatting. If Silverwood had a spine he would have sent Graham for 10 mins early in the 2nd half. Shame really.

Lets face it, stamping on a players leg wont help matters but to be honest im not sure he did it intentionally.

Its all well and good saying that but before yesterday all the Saints fan were saying that thier biggest advantage was in the front row. But Fielden, Coley, Prescott and Feka were well on top, the weakest of the four was obviously Feka and hes being replaced by Lima who is a top quality prop just like Perry is.

Saints will have one of the best sets of props but i dont see Wigans being weaker than them myself.

I thought Graham overplayed the move whereby he passes before he hits the defensive line. In the second half he was doing this every time he had the ball, and it wasn't effective at all, it being read by our defense every time, smacked of him either couldn't be bothered taking it up or fed up of getting hammered by our defense.

Graham meant to stand on Richards leg, and I would expect to hear more of it, but I dont think we will.

His attitude will prevent him becoming a great and in the NRL they will just ban him.

It's a shame in many ways. He's a fantastic player, but he spoils his image by behaving appallingly.

when they are going wrong and he should be digging in..like many props in SL, he doesnt.

he spits the dummy, gets niggly (but hides), and if you look close you see his bottom lip curling down , like hes about to cry.

i wouldnt have him anywhere near Wigan......he definitely NOT a team player.

At one point he started shouting at the ref, being a Scouser and all he should have been sent off for spitting.

Nope achillies injuries don't work like that. It will have been coming on for weeks and weeks until eventually it just breaks. It usually rips/tears/snaps in a twisting motion or when over-stretched. Overuse is also a key element to achillies injuries and as Pat has done ALOT of kicking this may have played part to it. It was probably unavoidable and merely a matter of time before it went. If Graham was the cause of the injury it would of been evident as soon as contact had of been made as Pat would of been in alot of pain. I'm not saying this as a saints fan trying to defend Graham because i believe any standing on opponents is dispicable.

Loved seeing his sulky ginger, scouse mush whinging at Silverwood on the replay.

He went down in my estimation after Saturday night. Great competitor, but sore loser. The game was played in the right spirit except for him.

Just watched match on TV, He spits out during minutes silence and also dont see him go up for his losers medal, not saying he didn't but would like to know if he did or not.

My thoughts exactly. In the second half i don't remember him driving it in once. Watching it back on tv he offloaded it just before he hit the line 5 or 6 times. I couldn't decide if he was trying something different for the team or just accepting he was Stu and Coley's b1tch all game. Suprising for such a workhorse.

A letter in the League Express says he threw his LOSERS medal into the empty seats. Didn't see this myself, but if he did he's a bloody disgrace.

There's been a lot said already whether Graham caused Pat's injury. Certain people ( especially Saints fans) say quite categorically that Graham stamping on Pat's foot/heel had nothing to do with the injury and that it would have happened anyway in time, owing to the nature of how the tendon actually tears. Others, myself included, think Graham's stamping on Pat's foot may have accelerated the onset of the injury.

If that is the case, then maybe Graham did Pat and us a big favour in that it's better he suffered the injury now ( and can thus get the majority of his recovery and recuperation done in the off season) rather than it happening in January/February which would have meant Pat missing almost all of the season.

Trying to look on the bright side....!! In any case, Good Luck, Pat, for as speedy a recovery as possible. We need you back on that left wing and kicking the goals asap!

Presume Deacon will kick if still playing and fully recovered from his groin problem next year. Or does Finch kick? or Hoffman? ( a la David Furner?!!) Or a fully fit Amos Roberts? A reliable goal kicker is so important in tight matches. ( We won away at Saints and Warrington because Pat kicked the penalties/conversions.)
