| SHOCK! This has turned into a "lets slag off Bradford" topic.
Bradford have always taken pretty decent numbers away in Super League. It used to be a lot better for obvious reasons, but some people kid themselves over how many they take away from home.
Someone states it's all pre super league fans attending Bulls games. Super League is 14 years old, get over it! I know a fair few Wigan and Bradford fans who never saw a Winter game.
I'll bet anyone that Bradford take more than 50 to Wigan as touted early. 50 of the English pounds.

| Whatever happened to that black 4x4 complete with Bully flags and soft toys?
More importantly whatever happened to those two brunette birds that SKY consistently zoomed in on every time Bradford scored?

| Well, I won't come and say hello at the Bradford game, Geoff, as the bloke in your seat will probably be Mick Gledhill from Bradford. What with the others around there being taken by season ticket holders, like.

| What's happened to Bratfut is sad and not good for RL. You would have to worry what sort of shape they are in financially given the drop in attendances.
You have to feel sorry for the long-standing Bradford fans who are standing by their club when the rats are leaving the sinking ship.
The way the Bullmania bubble has burst shows that the support at even big clubs is fragile. How gutted the genuine Bradford fans must be to see their fickle "supporters" drifting away. What a contrast with the way that Wigan fans responded a few years ago. You really do have to laugh now at the "Wigan Walk" jibes from fans of other clubs. The fact is that Wigan's fans are the best in RL by a country mile and everyone in RL knows it.

But it apparently makes us come across as arrogant to the fans of other clubs who can only dream of having support that responds in the same way!! Hence why they get the Wigan Walk nonsense in at every opportunity!!! If it keeps them happy let them!

You mean those scrawny lookin twins with the long greasy hair that did a dance routine to Bully Bully? ha ha
It's hard to believe that Bradford have fallen into the closed North Stand bracket along with the likes of Quins, Cats, Huddersfield, Crusaders etc.
Time was we used to produce posters and market our home fixture against them in Bradford with slogans like 'Can you fill it' and a picture of the North Stand. Maybe we should bring the initiative right up to date and show a picture of Westy in his taxi with the same slogan.
Sad times for the Bulls and RL in general. There's only Saints & Wire bring away support these days and I reckon a reduced saints support as we assume top dog status over this next decade will become the norm

Away support is an elephant in RL's room these days. Whenever the anti-expansionists try to argue that teams from non-traditional RL areas/France harm the income of British clubs because of low away support you only have to point to the dismal level of travelling support of most so-called heartland clubs.
We all laugh at Hull KR and their "2 million" fans, but we only gently laugh at them because although they don't have anywhere near as many fans as they claim they do travel a long way in numbers that shame many bigger and closer clubs. Sadly clubs with a decent level of core support like KR are few and far between. Dare I say it but apart from Wigan only Wire these days travel in big nos. Saints turn out at the last game at the DW was disappointing.
The fact that Bradford have now been added to the list of W Yorks clubs that can't muster a decent away following is a really worrying thing for RL.

| just wondering if the font of all knowledge, knows how many tickets the club sold for each away game this year as he can always be relied upon to give tickets sale updates. it was something that i started to think about when reading how few fans other teams bring to the dw.

Wise words there, Deano. It's unsettling, and it's what a lot of people don't want to acknowledge because the facts don't fit the preconceptions.

Useful as a rough guide, but wouldn't show the tickets bought direct from the home club (which I almost always have to do, in order to get seats).

Not worth opening for the poorly supported teams.

And that's only because away tickets and travel is subsidised by the club! make them pay the going rate and they to would only turn in numbers comparable to Weeds or the two Hull teams

There used to be a white cadallac as well that had a Bulls badge on the front.
The twins were awesome.

Wire yes......But when have wigan ever subsidised away travel apart from the Widnes play off game?! We get the support we do because we're great fans, not because we're subsidised.
And while were at it I would say Hull and Hull KRs away support is as good if not better than wires
IMO us and HKR are top, probably equal in terms of away support (maybe us edging them ), then Hull and Wire slightly behind, followed by Leeds and then Saints. After that the rest of the league has woefull away support, who take often 200-300 per away game if your lucky!!
