Marsh did nothing wrong. Did everything asked of him in defence and part of a great TEAM win. Well done to Josh too. Great to see him getting the chance that he's waited for and showing what talent he's got.

Fair play to Rogues Gallery, he had Charnley earmarked for Wigan first team years back... I saw him last year in the U20's and was convinced he would be a player for the future... I am made up for him and although Marsh hasn't hit the limelight yet.. IMO its just a matter of time before Wigan fans see him for what he is... which IMO is a Wigan centre for the next 10 years. Its great to see more Wigan lads in the Wigan first team... Great results tonight.

The great thing for Wigan and the scary prospect for the rest of Super League is that the production line of talent is endless.

The likes of Ryan King, Matt Russell, Sam Powell, Joe Mellor, Jack Hughes, Logan Tomkins, Liam Carberry, Ben Davies, Dom Crosby, Greg Burke, Danny Bridge etc are all either on the verge of the 1st team squad or first teamers in future years. They may be at different stages of their rugby playing development, but the talent and potential is there for all to see.

Correct, and from what I am led to believe the cream of the crop at U15 and U16 level have been/will be secured.

Charnley will be replace Gleeson when Pat is fit again. Goulding/Pat on the wings, George/Charnley in the centres. Marsh as first back up with Roberts.

Is Roberts OOC end of this year? Looked a bit more like his old self ball in hand but still looked so unconfident. Think he's gone at the end of the year though. No need (as harsh as that sounds). If one of your quota players isn't "assured" of a place in the team (and by that I mean good enough to be one of the first names on the teamsheet) then whats the point?

If Roberts were to leave at the end of the season we have plenty of potential replacements. Marsh and Charnley have both come in and done well, particularly Josh. There's still more to come from Marsh yet and we also have Ryan King and Matt Russell vying for places in our backline.

Had a superb game - carried on just as he always did for the reserves. He was the difference between the two sides tonight (along with Lockers, who was also outstanding).

Reminds me of a young Kris Radlinski.

Charnley will get one of the centre spots. If Carmont stays, then Marsh is the one most under pressure.

Indeed. Nowt wrong with Goulding. As long as we distribute the ball wide he will score 15-20 (or more) tries per season.

Played more games at centre than wing last year. Ainscough was mostly on that wing.
