7000+ season ticket holders allowed to buy 4 each. 3000 tickets. I’d say they are gone mate.

I would have expected an announcement from the club though if that was the case.
I have a feeling they may have kept a certain number of tickets back (say 1000 as a guess) to be sold on general sale.
I would suggest anybody still wanting tickets to be ready at 5pm to buy them, if that is possible for them of course.

nothing official on the club website yet
just been on Warriors fans forum, and they are having issues with tickets for the cup match now. Someone needs a good slapping for implementing the system that is far from ready and loads of missing data (ie season ticket holders)

| C & P'd my post from the other site:
Update!
I got a reply to the email I sent to the ticket office (see previous page of this thread) asking for my phone number to sort it out.
And just now had a call from A Very Nice Woman there, and a Saints ticket is now in the post to me, and a Sheffield e-ticket will be emailed to me in a couple of days, and she was very polite and thank you for your patience etc, and I said, I know it's not your fault, but you're taking the stick, etc. So, all good. But this chaos needs to end soon.

| I know a lot of people aren't happy on the other site, but I just don't get the uproar?
Why do people need to see their season ticket in their account, even though it has zero use for the next few weeks? People complaining, or ringing the club to chase, are just adding to the problem. It will either get sorted and we'll have them, or it won't and we'll have another temp e-ticket.
So far, we've had one game this season and the club made sure everyone who'd paid for a ticket got one. I'll admit that I was confused about the arrangements for the Hudds game, but the ticket dropped in my inbox in plenty of time and I got to see the game. Wasn't really that big of a deal. I also purchased the seat next to me for my other half and again, that was a smooth process.
Looking onto GF, it seems we've sold out our allocation. Firstly, that's how it should be on GF & we should be happy about it. Secondly, does it not show that the system is working? ST holders getting priority for buying away tickets, a benefit/perk they promoted to help sell said ST's.
Personally, I'm a ST holder and can't go. I've had people ask me if they can buy my ticket, or if I can get them one. Let's not beat around the bush here - demand for tickets and people trying to get hold of them is not only good for the club, but good for the sport too.
Who knows, people who missed out, might even purchase a ST next year as a result of this.

| Sorry, but that's rubbish. I'm a STH, and I wouldn't have even got a Saints ticket at all if I hadn't pestered the ticket office with an email, and then got this eleventh-hour phone today, as detailed upthread. So they clearly haven't "all sold out", or, at least, some have been put aside. People are a damn sight less likely to buy a ST next season, if it's not even going to guarantee first dibs at Cup and away fixtures. hopefully it'll all be sorted out soon, but to dismiss fans' concern as no more than people whingeing that haven't got a plastic season ticket yet is way off the mark.

It isn't tho. Have you not read the threads on other site. People moaning because they haven't go their ST "even though the paid for it last year" etc. There are plenty of people moaning about it.
FWIW, I can only go off my experience. I logged on last week and could buy one ticket for the Saints game. That's my allocation and I didn't take it up. It was simple & the ticket was there if I wanted it. Likewise, I've logged on for Sheffield tickets and my ticket is reserved for me.

| Sigh. As I hoped I'd made clear, my experience was not as fortunate as yours. And I'm not the only one. Sure there are some people complaining about season tickets. But that's not all of it. It's just muddying the waters to suggest so. Plenty of people have had issues obtaining Saints and Sheffield tickets. The fact that you appear not to be one of them, is not the point.

I never said it was the only issue, but there are plenty of people across multiple channels who are complaining about nothing.
As bad as your situation is, we've sold 7k tickets via the portal. That's gotta be a high % of fans who can and are using the system.
Likewise, I've seen people complaining on the other site and on social about STH being able to buy up to 4 tickets. Whilst they could do that, it wasn't as simple as every STH going in and getting four to dish out to their mates.
For all the bad (which isn't acceptable), it needs to be tempered to say it is, in part, working.

I'd say yes and no to this, but thats basically because its what i do for a job, and there is no way i would have gone live with the issues that appear to be inherent in the system. Basic one appears to be missing data i.e. ST holders
however, on a positive note i am not a season ticket holder and wasnt able to buy a ticket for Saints away, so there are some controls in place and working
And, i think in support of one of your earlier arguments, we should be celebrating the selling out of an away match (i know GF at Saints should sell out every year we play there) but in the last 18 months, we've had Leigh, Warrington, Salford all with record home gates when Wigan have travelled there

Yeah, we certainly won't be winning any awards for the project. Something so fundamental to the club i.e fans accessing tickets needed to be 99/100% right (if such a thing is possible).
My OP was just an update to say that, obviously, parts are working as intended. Even if non STH aren't happy they can't get tickets. Also, for those fans, whose only gripe is that they haven't got their ST ticket yet - it isn't a big deal. Others are having real issues however, that's also certainly a fact.

| Bought my GF tickets (x2) in person as soon as they went on sale. Me and my lad who's also a season ticket holder.
Can i just clarify something on those season ticket holders who managed to purchase online? When allocating up to three other people did they have to also be season ticket holders ie, you needed to link their client code?

I think that’s right you could by 4 tickets if they were also ST holders, and have their clients code. I couldn’t by online my mate went in person and got one for me using my code.

OK cheers, so whilst it's 'technically possible' that you could purchase tickets for non-season ticket holders (by using a code from a non attending season ticket holder) then its "highly likely" that the "vast majority" of the Saints Away end will be attended by current season ticket holders.

I bought two and it wouldn’t let me check out until I’d entered a valid code and name for the second ticket, assume it would be the same for anyone buying the full four

| As much as some traditionalists may not want it, I definitely think there's an argument to move the Good Friday fixture to a bigger stadium and really push it. If both teams got a home fixture against each other later in the year through loop fixtures I think it would be worth the gamble to trial it if it stacked up financially.

Lots of comments on social media from disgruntled supporters accusing season ticket holders where they have been allowed to get away with a 'free for all', buying tickets for mates/family or even selling them on for financial gain.
I wonder how many of these disgruntled supporters were at Salford on Thursday night?

i'm a non ST holder after having one for many years
I've no issue with missing out as simple maths says we have approx 7.5k season ticket holder and were given between 3-3.5k tickets, so there could be 4k ST holders missing out too. It has always been a correct perk of buying a ST that you got priority on all tickets sales, so again i've no issue
Now we all know that lots of ST holders may only attend the games they've paid for up front and they dont do home cup or play off matches. When i sat in the East stand, you knew which ST holders would be there for the games that werent season ticket matches. I'm not criticising anyone by this either as we all have choices to make, whether to go to ST home games, all home games, or all games home and away.
I cant remember if i posted on here or other forum, that we should be praising our away support as we've had full houses at Leigh, Salford and Warrington last year, and quite rightly, sold out for GF this year. The club has reconnected with the fans over the last 2 years or so, and you can see with the examples i've just given. Winning helps, but the club needed to start reconnecting well before and thats credit to Matty Peet and the club for recognising where they were

| I'd just like to reiterate that i do have massive sympathy for any season ticket holders who have missed out on Good Friday tickets due to system issues where they haven't yet received their four digit code and therefore couldn't order online.

100% you couldn't do this buying on line, first thing you had to do was log in then enter the no. of tickets you wanted, these then appeared in a drop down. the first was allocated to me and under the second ticket it said enter code to allocate.
You then have two options "network" for those who've gone through the palaver of looking after all your mates/family's tickets or from the same spot you can "search for member" . You then have to enter the surname and client code of the person you're buying a ticket for, only then would it add the second ticket to your basket.
When you think about it it's not bad because I assume that would knock one off the second persons allocation if they decided to buy some as well.

| I get people being miffed, especially with the ticketing site issues but I think a lot comes down to the fact that we as rugby league fans are not used to missing out on games. I have total sympathy for anyone who hasn't got a ticket but on the flip side, it's fantastic for the sport in a way to see people missing out. That will only help ensure sales are strong again next year and in future years and hopefully in none Good Friday Derbies as well.
