A couple of us were looking for decent specs for the over flow of flags on Sunday and there simply isn't any room.

Personally, I think we should go to the North stand as I think both gantrys would look awesome....Plus, those in the south stand would actually get to view them.

Get them on both gantries.

I'm definately not in favour of putting them on the North gantry. Its the 'away end' and just wouldn't look right imo. What about over the seats in the bottom corners of the east and west?? Starting at the South end? Theres only the Saints and Wire games where this would be a problem.

iv noticed that on the top of the west stand across the gantry there is room, i think for football they may use it for adverts, but when i looked on monday there was nothing there just blue and white covers.

No going over seats!

Ah right!! I thought that was just in the South Stand due to it being un-reserved.... If theres a problem with space, lets just concentrate on "phase 2".

no no no no no!!!! I am completely against the flags going on the north gantry, it defeats the object of everything that we have done, our idea at first when me and jimmy birts first decided we wanted to do this was to turn the south stand into "our end" i.e like the kop at liverpool or the stretford end. Whats then point in hanging our flags over the away fans??? Its completely pointless and the flags would have no meaning if they werent over "our end" so to speak.

Once the gantry is full lets begin phase 2, the big flags to wave before kick off.

Just in the process of possibly ordering another with jimmy birts. white top, red middle, white bottom. red writing at top and bottom "form is temporary" at the top, "class is permanant" at the bottom in red writing, Wigan R.L.F.C across the middle in white. Thoughts???

Not to keen on it myself either, seems a bit childish.

Quite funny and tormentative making those comments on here, especially given some of the posts by Salford fans on the other thread about arrogant Wigan fans. However, having it on a flag takes away from everything our new regime are doing and detracts from what I percieve to be the genuine reason for having the flags in the first place.

Lets save these comments for the forum and the terraces where irate Salford fans, bitter Cass fans and exposed coaches can vent their communal exploding spleens for our amusement.
