They wont if there are more happy clappers there asking stupid questions about why can i not buy a car parking ticket etc.
All the questions unfortunately there will be a parliamentary answer for them.

Honestly I can’t see this fans forum going any other way than a tough night for IL and Rads. The happy clappers at the moment are like rocking horse dung. Even the usual happy clappers I speak to are furious.

My question is;

1/ Why was Shaun Edwards never given a contract to sign?
2/ When it became clear Adrian Lam wasn’t good enough (for me it was 2019), why wasn’t he replaced forthwith?
3/ Why are we (all but confirmed) doing the cheap option and appointing Matty Peet as Head Coach and not spending money on a proven quality coach to change the direction of the playing side?

A lot of angry fans might be attending and it will be a question and answer on the night will questions being sent in by people who can't make it

Exactly that questions sent in by people who cant make it they will be vetted in the clubs favour and no questions against the club's difficulties they will pick and choose the ones they want and give s parliamentary answer to. Should be on Wigan TV or better still on Zoom.

Why are we being used as a training ground for unproven coaches? Eg Lam and Peet?

Surely if we were going for a 'cheaper' option then Danny Ward or Chris Chester would be top of the list, decent coaches with experience and hunger. Me personally would go for Chris Chester.

But has anyone actually seen it that they will be accepting questions sent in advance or are we just guessing they will do?

I'll be there and I guess they will take questions from the floor, but not seen anything about advance questions ?

Like I said, if we were to go for the cheap option then it would be Chester. Can't scrape the barrell more than appointing Lam as head coach who was Australia Assistant, the Australia head coach job is like a cermonial role anyway.

I have various cereal based questions along with a couple of anecdotes about a car parking pass (I don't use the car park but I feel for those that do as it must be horrendous the amount of questions they get about it!).

The tone of the evening will be very interesting. I think there are some fans who are expecting Ian/Kris to grovel and make a series of announcements to appease - both unfair and unrealistic in my view. On the other hand, I do think they need to acknowledge some mistakes that have been made and the poor performances of the team this year. I'm sure they'll try and strike a balance between an honest appraisal of the challenges the club and sport face and reasons to be optimistic and hopeful going forward.

One thing is certain, there'll be no excuses for fans not asking the questions that are bugging them.

There's been a lot of anger on this forum this season, and I've been as guilty of that as the rest. But this is an opportunity to resolve some issues. If we don't ask the right questions, we've only ourselves to blame.

Guess that depends on who got the tickets.

I'm not holding my breath. If the fans forum was open to just people on this forum, then we'd be fine imo.

It's some of the others that will hijack it and ask moronic questions. I saw someone on FB saying that Lam had lost the plot because he hadn't picked Clubb or Powell. The fact all the talk around Powell was about HIA and he got injured in an actual match, says it all.

I reckon the first bit will be announcements. 2022 coaching staff, Wane, player signings, Lam being packed economy back to Australia. Then followed by questions.

What I fear is that last nights half decent performance (let’s have it right it was half decent, wasn’t very good just efficient and effective for a change) will temper the questions and boost the mood. There’s still huge issues at this club and the questions we’ve persistently raised on here must be answered.

Im not confident at all that the forum will be anything more than a box ticking exercise and that no real info will come out

Lam will be announced on a 3 year deal.
Clubb will sign another 1 year deal.
We will lose Bullock, Clarke, Hastings, Gildart, Leuluai and Manfredi but won't sign anyone else due to there being no money due to contract upgrades of KPP, Havard and O'Neill.
Kelvin the Gorilla won't be coming back and the Edwards Pie Man has been lost.

Also disappointed, but not surprised that Phil Wilkinson/WEP aren't live tweeting either. Great journalism again!
