Good numbers and made some noise too once the game was won.
We made some good noise at the back of the BR stand but it never really carries across the ground so it appears to the away fans we weren't making much !.

Well done though was a good sight to see you enjoying yourselves at the end

Just can't get enough is a decent song ...when sung by Depeche Mode

When it's sung by RL "supporters" it's bloody awful.

Last Sunday the Hull supporters were singing one of the great RL songs "Old Faithful".
We were losing at the time and I heard a very flat JCGE.

Frankly it was embarassing.

I really wonder how you can watch and appreciate the game in full whilst singing something as awful as that.

Great night. Great atmosphere. Just can't get enough was beltin. A stop and search at the turnstiles resulted in most of gear being refused entry. Eagle eyed stewards confiscated flags on little canes but missed a 6m telescopic pole and 12 x 9ft flag.

Birmingham were singing the intro to it today, well, until Figs spanked home the winner

I genuinely can't believe they confiscated the flags on the canes. Are we not allowed flags in grounds any more or something?

I noticed that Hudds fans were allowed them.

The excuse given was that the thin plywood canes could be used as a weapon! So can pound coins and loose change. Maybe thats the next step. Huddersfield stewards taking all yer shrapnel.

And shoes... They can do a fair bit of damage, especially heels.

I don't see why not going to away matches precludes you from being a "true fan"?

I understand where "those where the days" is coming from. Its more of the people who want to create an atmosphere getting together at away games where as at the DW everyone is spread out and it is difficult to create a decent atmosphere sometimes.

So actually its more the case that, through necessity and by the nature of the circumstances of visiting an away ground, the experience is intensified. I appreciate that, but that is hardly a sound basis for suggesting that those of us who don't go to away matches are not "true fans".
