I'm guessing not many have people have watched this yet but just listening to Shaun Edwards you're left in no doubt waht Wigan RL means to him (still). If as was suggested, he was handing shirts out to the players yesterday then it must have been truly inspiring.

For those that missed it/ didn't record it make sure you catch it next time.

Just watched it this evening. A must watch for all Wigan fans, a word of warning though - don't expect much match footage cause there is very little (opening credits/introductions).
Good to see that Edwards, Hanley and Offiah are all still close mates and have some amusing stories from days gone by. Particularly enjoyed the Offiah story of him coming back from an all night casino at 8am in a stretch limo days before the Brisbane WCC game and being caught by Maurice and Jack in the hotel reception.

Edwards posh twang came out abit , farther etc , he hasnt changed much a genuine wigan legend! And maybe Ell is after a job on sky , he was on sky sports news on friday for 10 minutes! Love it!

Ellery's mangling of the English language is quite funny, Shaun is trying (and failing) to talk a bit posher, and Martin is the only one who really seems at ease with the studio chat format.

It should be compulsory viewing for all Wigan fans under a certain age - ie those unfortunate enough not to have witnessed 1985 - 95.

I got my daughter to watch it the other day on Sky+ - she'd marvelled at Wigan's triumph ( the first for her) at OT 2 weeks ago and was singing along as loud as anyone.

It's a cultural thing - she now understands more clearly how good Wigan really were from the mid 80's - mid 90's.

My step son who is 10 knows all about our history and is forever asking me to find videos from when Wigan won everything!!

It's a great feeling seeing the passion in today's kids as Wigan are coming back to their winning ways.

Just watched it after a load of birthday ales with the team, what an awesome programme. Some legendary stuff - Offiah going through his dodgy patch, Edwards' injuries before CC rounds, the build-up to Brisbane '94, Ellery being 'media' Ellery, Shaun giving the others the eye at times...just fantastic to see the 3 of them together and watch them interact. Always got the impression Hanley and Edwards were the big brother pros and Offiah was the gifted but slightly distrusted younger sibling, and this did nothing to disprove that view. Brilliant.



Could you imagine Madge, Wane and Edwards coaching together...
