Personally i thought we looked better when McIlloram was 9 rather than Tommy and he gives alot more solidity in defence, he really hurts the opposition when he tackles, tough call for Noble when Piggys fit but this year so far McIlloram has been our best option at 9.

It doesn't matter if the whole team were on him, Leuluai secured the ball and Demitriou ripped the ball away from Leuluai to either offload or for a quick PTB but because Leuluai had secured the ball it went flying out and that is down to Demitriou NOT Leuluai for the ball coming out. |

Lockers should of been MOM for me, couldnt really of asked for anymore from the lad, great in defence with a huge amount of tackles and big hits and very good in attack making hards yards and breaks.

O'Loughlin - Solid as a rock in all aspects.
Coley - What a huge improvement. Finally showing the form he showed at Salford.
Hock - A constant handful for the Wakefield defence.
I thought bar the first 2 wakefield trys our general defence was superb. Credit to Wakefield they dragged us into a scrappy arm wrestle and the strong wind didnt allow us to put the long passes together.

i think we showed today that we will struggle in bad weather, and will prob peak towards the end of the season, as in the prev nobby years.
a good solid win, and more importantly 3 good wins in a row.
given that we have now won 3 in a row away from the jjb - this is a marked improvement on the last 3 seasons. also impressive has been that we have won games in the final 1/4 - showing that we are starting to develop the mental strength, consistency, and beief to WIN games at the death - as opposed to the first 2 months of the season.
winning in style is great - but WINNING is the most important bit

he made a few yards after he scored the try - still completely outshone by Coley. I think Prescott made more yards and he was a sub! We could get the same workrate that Fielden puts in from a prop being paid probably half of what he earns... |
