Thats two official confirmed departures and a further two also Known.

Riddell & Ainscough confirmed, Feca and Bailey Known.

So how many more will there be?

That will be 4 out and 3 coming in at present.

Riddell = Finch

Feca = Lima

Bailey = Hoffman

Ainscough = Charnley

Looking at that analysis we will be a hell of a lot stronger next year.

The big questions lie around the other out of contract players. Will this weaken our side or not?

I wish the club would confirm what is happening with:

Fielden, Carmont, Preccy, Coley, Tuson, Micky Mac, Faz, Phelps and Pryce

Worrincy wouldnt get in our U20's on of the worst players in the league

I still think we are a hooker short there, especially given Mickey Mac's injury record. We need to bring in a genuine replacement for Piggy for next year. He's been a big part of our attack this season

Surely there's a reason for it. If someone's leaving or staying what does it matter as long as the club are preparing to cover players leaving? If we only find out in one big hit of news 24 hours after the GF then so be it.

Catalans have released Ken Bailey, I mean Kane Bentley. Always looked fairly good when I've seen him.

I don't think the club need to announce anything regarding OOC players. St.helens have a few OOC and they haven't announced anything. Just because contract signings haven't been announced doesn't mean that they haven't happened. Mike MaGuire has said that he wants the players to remained focused on the season ahead instead of next year. After our form this season who can argue with him?

From the list above if we're going to speculate I think it is a given that Andy Coley, George Carmont, Chris Tuson, Mike McIlorum and Liam Farrell will/have signed. I believe Cameron Phelps has been shown the door. I pray that we sign Fielden on a two year contract. None of this one year and then another possible year. He's a top British prop forward and with the quota coming down & the clear lack of them (Saints have had to punt for LMS!) it would be a huge error on our part not to tie him down at Wigan.

The final two players Karl Pryce and Paul Prescott I'm not sure if we'll keep. I'm not sure if either are up to the standard set at Wigan. Certainly if we're going to release Ainscough then I suspect Karl Pryce will also leave.

Only 23 too and can play hooker/halfback. Would he count on the quota? If he didn't then I would consider making a move for him. That would complete the squad for me if we had some depth at hooker. He looked very impressive playing for France (if that's possible) in the Four Nations last year. One of their better players.

I think it would be fantastic if the club were to announce the retention of Coley and Fielden at the game on Friday Night, thats if they are in a position to do so.
