You don't need to remind me about some of the childish crap that is posted in the build up to these games - this is the only thread I am bothering with on here, and I rarely bother with the Wire board at the best of times, never mind in the build up to a Wigan game!

In terms of the tickets for the away end, it is up to the home club, for the past couple of years the travelling support has dropped at most grounds for obvious reasons, and whereas in the past it could be relied on Wigan and Saints fans selling the full 3.5k in the West Stand, that can't always be guaranteed at the moment, so if they can sell tickets to the home fans then I have no issues with that (although stewarding needs to be strong).

Last season Wigan brought a low following to Warrington and I would suspect that was the reasoning behind giving Wigan the 2.5k this year. Had they sold them a week in advance, I don't doubt they would have been given more. None of that is a criticism by the way, 2.5k is still a great following, and especially in the current climate.

Unfortunately some people will take any opportunity to criticise their rivals, without realising that they are making themselves look stupid!

I don't think it'll be a sell out. We have these statements from the club in the build up to every big game and they rarely get much more than 20,000. I'll go for 22,500 for this game.

Yes. Wigan shifted 1100 yesterday so Wire probably sold 900.

Now less than 50 left in the South.

Quick look at the booking tool just now shows:

West 1: 268 / 2,512
West 2: 299 / 2,510
South: 40 / 5,402
East 1: 46 / 4,112
East 2: 321 / 4,110
Total: 974 left out of 18,646

Fantastic, less than a thousand left in the Wigan areas, now we just need the plastic chee scousers to get off their lazy backsides and fill the North (5,402).

The numbers left are slightly more than that as the E-Ticketing shows that row MM is full when in reality there are still seats left on that row - I don't think it shows up on E-Ticketing with it being a 'new' row in terms of when the stand was first designed.
