| Quote ="Wigan/Leeds Andy"Wow classic Smokey fog knitting at it's finest. Lets cut to the chase:
1. After three attempts you still can't back-up the claim that Quins have the cheapest squad in SL after you used that as a reason to defend McDermott's record at Quins. If you're going to make claims like that at least back it up. So we can only assume that was made up (as well).
2. Seeing as the Leeds Rugby Chief Exec says that regular club revenue is going to help pay for the redevelopment - "Every penny generated from membership sales in 2011 will go directly to realising our vision to create a venue of excellence for our fans", I'll go with him thanks.
3. I do consider Mike McIllorum as part of the 2010 SL winning side - he did play in the GF after all.
HTH.'"
thats just a pathetic attempt. Its no fun when you do it so poorly.

| Quote ="Wigan/Leeds Andy"Well seeing as I never claimed to have any of those things in the first place you really do need to read things before embarrassing yourself even further.
I've even given a quote from Hetherington that shows that season ticket sales are funding the redevelopment - which backs up what I originally said - again it might help if you'd bothered to read that. Then again you're just proving my point that some Whinos are lashing out at the champion team, because they can see what's coming over the horizon at Leeds.'"
this is another thing you have made up. Its a better attempt than the crap you were spouting before, but still not any kind of truth.
The season ticket sales arent funding the development, MEMBERSHIP sales are. This isnt a season ticket, it is a charge over and above the season ticket cost as part of a separate sale to fund the development.
The MEMBERSHIP sale (as opposed to the season ticket you seem to have confused it for) will go towards funding the development, but as i say, this is a new thing, brought in to fund the development, like a new revenue stream almost, a ring-fenced one, separate from standard revenue like season ticket sales for instance.
For the Rhinos for life membership (which again is a dedicated revenue stream for the new stand) you dont even need to buy a season ticket.
Had you said earlier you didnt understand the difference between 'membership' and 'season ticket' i could have explained it to you and you wouldnt have spent so long making yourself look silly.

| Sounds pretty good this 'Ring Fencing' lark doesn't it. I'm going to 'Ring Fence' the cash to pay for my shopping bill this week. Then I'm going to pay for my petrol for my car from a different 'revenue stream', following this though, guess what I'm still going to be out of pocket by the end of the week.
Talk about smoke and mirrors, how long can one sprout so much utter tripe, and try and dress up the fact that one way or another Leeds will have to pay for the development. Get a grip!
In all honesty who cares how they pay for it.

| That's all right then. As long as I pay for my petrol, from my petrol budget, then that won't affect how much I can spend in the supermarket. I must remember all this when I go out spending cash.

| I can't actually believe that a roof on the away terrace is being left out of the plans. Surely that is pretty important. Improved facility for away fans, higher price for tickets, better atmosphere. The only place we actually do get covered in Yorkshire is Hudds!

| So more tight bummed yorkshiremen putting themselves first and making the away stand the only stand that isn't covered still.
If I had a team and was deveoloping the stadium I'd never do 3 stands and not the other because I think it looks stupid.

I think the excuse for not having a roof at the away end is because they cannot get planning permission due to the houses at the back of the ground. A roof would affect their light.
Having said that it is all student accommodation so sod 'em.

Perhaps there is no ring fenced revenue stream to pay for an away end.

It's got nowt to do with being tight, as there's a very good medical reason for not enclosing the space.
As the prevailing winds in the UK are generally from a South West to Westerly direction, most of the crap wet weather is deposited on your side of the country, whilst we, who reside in God's County, bask in a more temperate zone.
So, when a rather bedraggled bus load arrives from the other side of the Pennines, the best option is to have them standing on an open terrace , with a good brisk breeze at their backs to get rid of that damp smell that seems to follow them everywhere, and some honest Yorkshire sun on their faces to invigorate them with a healthy dose of vitamin D
You know it makes sense!
