It could have been the worst possible match up if Huddersfield had bothered to turn up. That is the worst display I have seen this season from the Giants.
Wigan played very well, but the Giants defence was like running through a wet paper bag.

I hope to hell us and Saints win our next games. I'd love to demolish them at Old Trafford. Don't fear them at all, even after this game against Cas.

We don't really fear Wigan

The fear of losing is what drives great sportsmen. Hopefully Wigan won't underestimate Saints like you seem to.

We all know this Wigan team is better than the current Saints team. But the GF is a one off. I fear losing to Saints like hell. It's the worst possible scenario.

The only way I could enjoy it is if we are 19 points ahead with 5 minutes to go.

Anyway we're not there yet. Chicken counting and all that. Leeds might have something to say about a derby final.

There is a good chance it will be a Wigan V Saints final. I am fairly sure Leeds or Warrington will be the choice facing Saints after next week. It all depends on injuries between now and then but I would expect them to pick Warrington. That would give two cracking semi finals. Both games would be hard to call but I would fancy a repeat of 2010.

Saints don't believe in Nigel's gimmick so they will pick the lowest positional side which might be Catalan.

Hope so, I'd rather we played Wire or Cas rather than Leeds (can't see Cats winning).

Saints would be crazy to pick Wire if they get through.

With the way results have gone I can see Catalans beating the Giants, so we could be picking as suggested the Catalans. Warrington are a bit busted at the moment so you could be playing Castleford.
So both clubs can put their feet up and see what happens next week.

I can also see Cats beating Hudds, Cas have the home tie but look busted, we play like last week we are in the final and we win it, just shows what an achievement it was last season to do the double.

The Cas v Wire game is interesting because Warrington are showing a few signs of being jaded too. i reckon they are carrying a few knocks and Russell clearly will be out for the season now.

I reckon Saints are now odds on for the GF,they will choose either Hudds/Cats and should beat either at home ..We on the other hand will most likely get Wire who despite looking jaded are still a threat, i think they will beat Cas who look dead, if we come through that then i think the title is ours..
