Look at the statement, there's nothing to be interpreted as untrue, but it's the facts within the statement.
Hock has stated he doesn't want to play for Wigan any more. Why? People close to the player and club know of the reasons why Hock would want out of his home town club, whether it be for Widnes or an Aussie club.

An agreement has been made between the club and Hock and his agent, for this reason and because Hock would love to play for Wigan under a different coach, you can guarantee he won't be issuing a complaint against IL.

Read between the lines on this one.

It's a forum to discuss RL and Wigan news, that of which is exactly what I've done.

Especially as they have been a big part of the problem in Gareth Hock's career.

Or maybe, if for instance the real reason was something to do with him getting upto his old tricks again (i'm just putting it out there, not saying it's true) then maybe what the club has come out and said today is better for him than the potential truth?

So Wigan release a statement bad mouthing Gareth Hock and his attitude to the club. They don't really mean it though because theywant him back in 2014 should Shaun Wane go.

F*ck me. What planet do some people live on? If that was the case then I can guarantee that Wigan would not have released that statement. They'd simply have said there had been a fall out at the club and it was in the best interests of all involved to help the club move on. They may even have said it was in the best interests of Hock fitness wise after his injury to be guaranteed to play which here he isn't. They would NOT have spoken about his poor attitude and his total disrespect of the club.

What Wigan have said is all true, hence no legal issue, that's not the point, the question is why did/does Hock not want to play for his home town club anymore? Because of our 'great' coach. We all know there's been a bust up, i' guessing people on here don't know what it was over, but it wasn't over Hock wanting to go to Aus, wanting to go to Aus was to a reaction, an example of Hock wanting to leave the club, to get away from Wane.

Not really. All you're saying is "I know something you don't know". That's more like a schoolyard discussion.

So it seems with all the support he got from the owner, players, supporters and coaches over the last 4 years Hock deems himself too good for us and wants a lucrative deal in Australia. Real class act by IL to send him to Widnes. Its obvious that Paramatta wanted him and the whiff of money was enough fro him to turn his back on the club and that is what he has done. Tbh i think we lost a better player last season in Hoffman than Hock.

Only problem i see is the timing of it all.

Some will want to believe various rumours of how badly treated or it was Wane's fault but its fairly obvious he wants more money in the NRL. Only mistake IL has done is not to let him play against us as he is a liability and could easily be triggered to lose control and get himself sent off.

Clearly I do know something he doesn't know, hence my opinion on the matter. But like I said, it's not my place to announce it, so I won't.

The club has a history under IL of NO COMMENT. That statement speaks volumes about who is in the wrong. If Hock is hard done by he should open his mouth in public but for IL to put out that statement well if anyone wants to believe Hock they have been taking the same white powder Hock did when he got banned.

The problem is his reaction to the bust up. I had a bust up with my boss but I didn't refuse to go to work. If he had gone to traoning and carried on with his head down he would probably have had more ppl on his side. He hasn't though. He has used said apparent bust up to hold the club to ransom. The fall out may not have been his fault. The rest is.

I love it when people "know the truth" but it isn't their place to announce it. Everyone else is wrong (including Wigan) but they can't say why.

If you know the truth put on here and i bet Hock will back you up. Sorry but innuendos mean nothing when an owner puts out a statement that strongly worded. But i bet you know a friend of his who puts Hocks spin on it.

Do you know the reason why Hock wants to leave the club? I'd be surprised if you'd had the same issue in your place of work.
It isn't about getting people 'on your side', it's about making a decision about his own future and wanting out of the club while it's under Wane's leadership.

Perhaps BOTH coaches were at fault, and poor angelic little Gareth - with his great off-field record - has been doubly mistreated.

I'm sorry, but like I said, it isn't my place to start announcing things on here. But read between the lines.

TBH if that's is what happened Hock needed to grow up. Crap at work happens you just get on with it. But what i want to know Lastsonfowigan was Hock injured or disciplined before the Catalans game in September seen you now so much and you know the truth. Did he get an injury or was it another issue.

Again, almost childish comment when we all know Wane would deal with Hock on a daily basis as his and the clubs head coach.

I've read between them and Hock is STILL the one in the wrong.
