We just don't need to take an unnecessary risk with any signings in my opinion, with the salary cap being so tight any signing is a risk, so I see no reason to sign somebody who is more of a risk than your average RL player.

Falanagan has made a brief appearance in one game I do believe but Wests have a ton of injuries so i wouldn't be surprised if hes called on soon, he does seem surplus to requirement over there though sadly.

He did not just get bulled up becuase of his looks, he could play a bit and was instruemental in helping Wales win its 2005 grand slam win. Pity people are judging him on looks etc when they have not really seen him play as tbh how many on here actually watch union as most say they turn it off. He went down hill 3-4 seasons ago when he got injured and got bored. Sounds a familiar story.

For any side he will be a gamble but the latest i have heard he has been summoned to the WRU think his time in union is over. I can see him going to Widnes or Crusaders. As a Crusaders fan and a Welsh union fan I would say don't go near him. We certainly don't want him at Cru. He was an instrumental player in our 2005 Grand Slam and he had great skills. However, with injury and personal life issues he's become a burden. He seems to be more interested in celebrity than rugby now and has a bad attitude full stop. He's a prima dona who would expect a huge salary. He showed such promise to be one of Welsh legends of union and he threw it away. Sad loss to rugby imo.
