That's an average score of 44-9. Look at those results and tell us again it was arrogant to expect us to steamroll you and for you not score more than a couple. All credit to the lads for almost pulling off a shock but that's definitely what it would have been, because Wakefield to us has been an easy 2 points for quite some time apart from today.

Think you are in for an easy game or dis-respect your opponents in any way and you are asking for trouble and I've seen it happen so many times and not just in rugby league. Delighted we fought back to get the win today and fair play to Wakefield for getting stuck in and playing as well as they did.

We are missing Green for sure. I'd give Williams a run next week. Powell seems to be struggling a bit and a rest might just be what he needs. I wouldnt have minded too much if we lost today because i dont see us going the rest of the season unbeaten and i dont fancy losing to Wire in 3 weeks time.

No it won't. No points will be awarded to either side until the game ends. Therefore, at no point before or during the game will Saints be in 8th place, hence why a defeat could not, and will not, drop us into 9th.

is a 5.6 point loss. Wigan's average match score for each game is a 26.8 point win. Wigan therefor, on a game by game basis are 30 points better than Wakefield.

Now based on this, and the fact we have come into the game on the back of some red hot form, Tomkins having scored 20+ tries in the last 11 games, why is it arrogant to expect a comfortable victory, and for Tomkins to get a bucket full of tries? Surely he was just going off the stats for the previous 17 games for the season.
