| I could not believe how every official missed that. seams pretty similar to a punch fasavalu did for us a few years back, punching out in the tackle. Good job the lad had a head guard on. Dazzed and confused rather than out cold.
It will make no difference. Leeds are still going to suffer one hellu'va beating.
Means Hock will be fresh for the battle royale against Warrington. The offload looked great on TV, but it was late in the game against a tiring, poor side. I reckon the Wigan fans are probably right and a bench spot would have been the most he could have hoped for next week.

| First of all I thought he played well, but then again so did everyone against a very poor Bradford side. He was IMO looking for trouble for most of the second half, I forget the number of times Tommy or Jeff had to pull him away from fracas. He's a superb player and I love his aggressive side, but he has to learn to control it better, because in closer tighter games his indiscipline could cost us.
Would be very harsh to ban him for that though. The number of times players lash out in tackles and nothing is done about is huge.

| all he did was swing his arm after the tackle, its not like he's kicked somebody in the head is it, who was it that did that and who does he play for.

| Amazing how leeds fans can say anything, dirtiest team in the league, Watch the replay last time we played them, Danny maguire was constantly having his hand in the face of our player trying to wind them up. Even dirty tactics against Catalan (peaCOCK) (delaney) etc Not to mention last years play offs. Yorkshire scum. Rugby gods <3

Aye I've just seen the replay. You'd hope Richards called for it, 'cos Hock certainly didn't look where he was throwing!

| Hock was awesome at prop last night and for me broughtmore to the team last night than Coley has in a while. I'd still go with Coley for next week though just for his consistency. As for the punch we'll have to wait and see.

| I can't actually believe this is being discussed! First of all how can anybody say anything negative about Gaz after last night is laughable. He was immense both in attack and defence. He has probably made about 10 or 11 off loads and no handling errors in the last two games (including one of the best I have ever seen). To question his discipline is just about the most ridiculous thing I've ever read, he gave one penalty away all the game for a needless push and shove but that penalty could have easily gone the other way, contrary to what I have read on here I didn't see him once get pulled away from a fracas.
As for the "punch" it was a complete nothing incident and I don't believe it will even be mentioned at the Disciplinary nevermind him getting banned for it!!

| He'll get a warning, but that's it. Similiar to when George [Or was it Amos? elbowed the lad at Huddersfield earlier in the year and knocked him sparko.

| cant see him getting put ahead of coley, mossop, prescot and lima, dont believe hes any where near match fit enough to get a spot in the second row, not seen the punch yet but bradfot where trying to get a reaction out of someone in the second half, just glad it wasnt a more influential player.

If it was a puch, you'd have point, but he had a close fist and smacked him luckily in the side of the head. Like I said earlier the lad had a scrum cap on so luck him, cause he was still dazed by it.
If you feel there was nothing in it, fair enough, but then I'm sure if it was the other way, we would have had oo's and ahs and off off off, like we heard from wigan fans for sykes tackle. Which there was nothing in. A shoulder tackle that slipped up, as opposed to a blatent punch.
He may not get anything, but I still think they'll take a look and considering the 1 match bans for genuine tackles this year, I would not be surprised for a 1 match ban.

| It wasnt an intentional punch in my opinion. He was attempting to shove him off as he was all over him.
But my god what an uppercut! Jeezus, wouldn't like to see him when he's trying to punch someone!
He won't be banned - nor will he play.

I very much doubt that, as I said there's nothing in it, its just a player trying to get a QPTB and an opposition player lying over him, not even a punch, more of a shove, to compare it to the Sykes incident is unfair, neither deserve any more attention by the RFL, but its all about opinions.

| really??? Watched the game back this morning and didn't notice a thing - just played on 58mins and 4 seconds (can only but assume this is the tackle??) There's nothing there, he was literally trying to get up - at most a slap on the wrist and that would be silly if you ask me

Come on seriously, did you really expect the "Wigan appreciation society" ahem, disciplinary panel to ban the thug. Carl Ablett didn't hit golden balls as hard as that yet he still got a 3 match ban. I suppose it helps when half of the panel has wigan connections. Is phil clarkes dad still weaving his magic on the panel for you? I would imagine he'd refer most of the decision to "the gods" eh?
