Needs must sometimes and if he's made himself available he'd be worth looking at. I'd like us to look at selecting guys like Heighington, J Tomkins and Westerman in the backrow if Ellis and Westwood are out but it'll be guys like JJB and Wilkin that get selected no doubts.

I think the reason we have this feeling about him is because many wire fans tried to tell us he was better than Tomkins. He just isn't, it is clear for a all to see. He is a great support player, he is brilliant at passing the ball onto Hodgeson etc. but everything else I see from him is quite often average.

Can't deny his defence is a problem as well. He has improved yes but he just lacks in that compared to the rest of the team and it stands out.

That was one example.

Maybe his try record against you is why you don't like him, like I said above hopefully he does the business other then going an scoring himself that knocks you out.

I couldn't care less which players score against us as long as it ain't Long (now retired) or ex players who rub it in. Somebody has to score against us. We are not going to keep a clean sheet in every game, the name of the scorers matters not.

It is not that I don't like him. He seems a decent player with a good attitude. I just don't rate him and it seems to upset you. Ask the fans of other teams in super league, I bet they don't get worried when he gets the ball, he never breaks the line on his own. Fans get more worried when the likes of Monaghan, Briers, Hodgeson and King get the ball.

I think Warrington could do better, I would be extremely worried if wire bought a player to replace him. Apparently he is on quite a large contract for a young player, wire could probably get a better player for the money he is on.

Funny enough I have never seen him really talked about apart from here and the Salford forum, can understand the latter here not so much.

Westwood wanted a second opinion on the injury, so may not be out for the season. He is a player that the Wire will miss.

Not great news for Warrington, both Morley and Westwood could be out for season.
